To kick off the process there is a guide that she has put together, which answered all the questions I had about wardrobe and what I might do to better prepare for the shoot. Throughout the time up to my shoot there was more than enough time and a safe space to dialogue with Cindy about any other questions I had. Her questionnaire was also a comfortable way to voice any concerns I might have had. The day of the shoot I trusted her with the process, and she made it worth while. The reassurance was in the measure of all beautiful aspects I did not know were in me and how they outweighed the "flaws" I thought I had going in. Out of the experience I received more than just gorgeous pictures. The essence of who I am and what I can be, radiated in the way Cindy was able to capture my true beauty. The pictures allowed me to posses an everlasting keepsake to remind me of my true self, and also experience an awakening boost of confidence. A series of brainstorming sessions full of laughter and whimsical at their offices, narrowing down the details as to the photos we kindly asked to be taken during the first-look and later after the ceremony during the cocktail hour (and with any vendor we would recommend that you be specific as possible and convey succinctly in writing what it is you're looking for and want), Mariah and Trish, having familiarity with our venue, were able to keep things well organized on our wedding day. They captured the best perspectives while also putting to great use the natural light and lens flares, all the while keeping our 2-year-old, precocious niece occupied and happy throughout the photography shoots. That says a lot and that takes a lot when having to deal with multiple, somewhat un-attentive family members and friends as well. I had, so far as I knew, already hired Snap! to photograph my wedding, until they pulled a bait-and-switch. After I had spoken with a member of their team, agreed via email that I would hire her, received an email response back about how exited she were to work with me, and another email indicating from the company's owner telling me a contract would be sent out to me first thing the next day, I instead ultimately received a curt email letting me know that another couple had signed a contract for my same date that very morning and so no one from their team was available to work with me. Every other photographer I've spoken with has been kind enough to let me know when someone else even inquired about their availability on my date, while Snap! never indicated to me at all that anyone else had asked about that date, let alone that there was another contract being drafted or already floating out there, ready to be signed by another unsuspecting couple. They are totally unprofessional (not even returning my phone call, just responding with brief emails) and I would not recommend them to anyone.
