Mothership continues to do a great job with both their drinks and their food, and this location was no exception. The only thing worth mentioning is that they don't seem to keep much cash on hand, so if you're paying with cash, it's a good idea to bring smaller bills since they usually aren't able to break anything larger than a $20. I like to go around town and look for cafes to get some work done, and Mothership locations never disappoint! But my favorite location is at Fergusons Downtown. It's nestled within a grassy area and outdoor seating on the rooftop is available. The interior is beautiful and spacious with plenty of natural light. The lattes can be on the sweeter side, but it's perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. Out of any cafes I've worked at, the wifi at Mothership is fast and reliable when connecting with my work VPN. It can get busy, but the sound levels from the chatter or the music never get too loud nor distracting. What a neat space! It's tucked in an area that's open with turf and space for kids to run around at or people to just hang out at. There's a guy at the entrance to all these shops there who welcomed me as I walked into the space. He kindly guided me to where the coffee shop was. "Just go straight down there. You'll see it!" Came across Mothership while hunting for a unique spot to grab coffee and light breakfast away from the bustle of the Strip. Mothership is now in my regular rotation while in Vegas! They are located in the historic Ferguson's Motel, which is filled with unique business (some of my faves are LV Plant Collective and Tofu Tees) and tons of outdoor space that you can enjoy your coffee on, enjoy live music, or any of the happenings they host. But back to Mothership: there is plenty of indoor seating, and plenty of places to plug in and work from if you need a mellow spot that is bright and welcoming. They have a small merch set up with shirts, stickers and pins; they also sell bags of their coffee beans. Their beverage and food menu are straightforward and have a good amount of options without being too overwhelming. I've had their Lavender Latte (my personal fave) and the Bourbon Vanilla Latte. I HIGHLY recommend getting their house-made whip-it's $1 extra but it is so thick and creamy, and it tastes like it has vanilla bean or something extra. Whatever it is, it's delicious! They also have a variety of food options: pastries, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burrito, and other sandwiches. I'm a big fan of their ham pillow (a ham & cheese croissant with everything seasoning), and the options always look and smell amazing. A special note about Mothership, they host something called "Sip With Purpose", where they donate a portion of a specific beverage (latte) to a good cause. They post their monthly donation partner on their website and in-store-a great excuse to try something new while doing some good! Everyone we've interacted with is super friendly and the vibes are very welcoming here. Follow the pathway from Fergusons entrance and the truck statue and you'll see Mothership Coffee Roasters. The location offers seating inside and much to choose from outside. This location is by far the prettiest! I've been to every location except for this one and I'm kicking myself for not going here earlier. I never entered the Ferguson's and it was a little escape! The space is bigger than I thought. I was told it was an old motel that's turned into an artsy complex of boutique shops and restaurants - one being Mothership! It's tucked away in the back. It has such an industrial feel surrounded by huge windows, concrete, and wood accents. I like the table and seating set up more here. I was here to catch up with a friend and the space was perfect. It felt so relaxing and somewhere I would want to work at or sit down and have a read. Everyone is always so welcoming and kind! If you don't know what to get, they're always happy to answer your questions. We love milk alternatives and they got you covered. I tend to pick the Sip With Purpose which is their coffee of the month with proceeds going to a good cause. December was the tux and it just sounded like a black and white mocha, but I was wrong. It was SO GOOD. There was a cream on top I wanted to inhale. It also tasted like there was some peppermint inside and it was fantastic. Coming back to this location more often! read more

I've been to this Mothership location a few times for quick grab-and-go matcha, but this time I had the opportunity to relax for a couple hours while doing some work on my laptop. This location is one of my favorites. I love how the interior is both modern and cozy. There is a variety of seating options; all of which are comfortable. The big windows overlooking the grassy communal area outside is nice. Since it's located inside Fergusons, there are ample gender neutral restrooms available just steps outside the coffee shop and are clean and well maintained. The two baristas on shift during my visit were very friendly. I ordered an iced Tiger Milk Matcha w/ oat milk and a cranberry orange scone. The matcha was quite delicious; there was a nice subtle sweetness that didn't overpower the earthiness of the matcha. The barista taking my order suggested I have my scone warmed up and I'm glad she did; it was delicious! There was also nice music playing that didn't distract me from my work. My only minor complaint is that outlet plugs were not abundant. Luckily my laptop was fully charged, but if it hadn't been I wouldn't have stayed so long. Such a great place! Definitely a hidden gem. My friends and I are traveling from out of state and we're very pleasantly surprised by this place. Coffee was good. Got the washed Peru in pour over. Writing this because of the weird interaction I had. Teach your baristas to put a little more care into explaining the coffees on bar and what's available on pour over. I wanted a single-origin coffee so I asked the barista taking my order. She said the espresso wasn't single origin but said they offer single origin pour overs but told me it would take 10-15 minutes. She then handed me a laminated sheet with all of their offerings and I chose the Mexico but she said that's what was on espresso....? I got confused because she told me there wasn't a single origin on espresso? Anyway.... the paper she handed me stated that a pour over will take 3-5 minutes, yet she told me 10-15 minutes twice. So I called the bluff. The place was empty. I ordered the pour over anyway, sat down, and sure enough, my coffee was ready in about 3-5 minutes. It almost seemed like she didn't want to make the pour over because she recommended an americano. Specialty coffee needs more transparency, more education, and more passion. If you're a coffee roaster, your staff should be excited to talk about the coffees they're serving--not discourage people from ordering them. I sensed laziness. If you see a customer struggling to pick a coffee, recommend something that's fruit forward or something that's more classic. Don't wait for the customer to ask, ask THEM what they like and work off the customer. Care a little bit more. This was my first and last impression. Vesta Coffee will be my go-to. read more

Very yummy lattes! I usually am not a coffee drinker so I wasn't sure if I was going to like it here but they had a wonderful iced vanilla latte that really hit the spot in the morning. This place is great for a work and study space with plenty of outlets. The wifi is fast and free while the coffee is good (a bit too sweet for me, but you can always reduce it). Next time I would reduce it (but I'm not a sweet tooth and appreciate the taste of coffee more). There were two amazing workers behind the bar the whole time and were so sweet and nice. Found this spot while browsing Yelp for a place to get coffee other than our hotel lobby (again). While I found many places that looked to make delicious coffee, this was the first one that stood out to me based on some of the items and flavors they had. This cafe is located inside the historic Ferguson's Motel, surrounded by plenty of outdoor seating and cute locally owned shops. DRINKS: Most places just have the basic / standard coffee drinks and flavors. However, Mothership has some fun and unique flavors, such as Blueberry White Mocha, Bourbon Vanilla, Creme Brulee, and Butterbeer. They do also have the classics (Cappuccino, Americano, Latte, Nitro Cold Brew, drip coffee), plus teas, tea lattes, and some items for the kiddos, or kids at heart (hot chocolate, a "Kiddoccino", and FREE coloring and activity sheets)! We ended up getting one of the Bourbon Vanilla, and one of the Butterbeer lattes. Both were incredible. The bourbon flavor stood out as different from the typical vanilla you get everywhere else, and the Butterbeer wasn't too overpowering with the cinnamon, which I feel can happen with that flavor. After all was said and done, my latte was almost $10 ($6.75 reg / $7.75 large, $0.75 to sub oat milk, $1 for house-made whip). That is certainly more than I prefer to pay for coffee, though this was one of the best lattes I've had in a while. The house-made whip was definitely worth it. Picture this: Vanilla Bean ice cream blended into a thicker whipped cream topping. I want an entire cup of just that. They also do something called "Sip With Purpose", where they donate a portion of a specific latte to a good cause. This month, every Blueberry White Mocha purchased helps support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). FOOD: There are several food options, including croissant and ciabatta breakfast sandwiches, beef empanadas, a chia bowl, breakfast burrito, plus seasonal and other pastries. As of June 2025, the seasonal pastries are: Strawberry Lemon Glazed Muffin, Cherry Cheese Danish, Almond Bearclaw, and a Spinach & Feta Pillow. The pillows are basically foldover croissants, and they had a ham one that seems to be a permanent menu item. This is actually the one we tried, and it was DELICIOUS. It was warmed up before being served, and the crispy cheese on both ends is what dreams are made of. INSIDE: The vibes inside are very chill. It was already over 90 degrees when we came around 10am, and it was cool and relaxing inside. There are a handful of tables spread out around the perimeter, as well as some soft communal seating with a coffee table in the middle. They sell bags of coffee to-go, and various pieces of fun merch. There is additional outdoor seating on the roof! PARKING / BATHROOM: We were able to find street parking pretty easily in the area about a block away. There were signs to pay during the week, but it wasn't applicable when we went on Sunday. There is no restroom inside the cafe. Instead, there is a designated area nearby with 10 or so individual unisex stalls that are all equipped with their own sink. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the restrooms were, despite not being inside. OVERALL: We loved our first experience at Mothership! Went with a recommendation Pistachio White Mocha. I usually like strong bold coffee but I wanted to change it up a bit. This tasted like a pistachio ice cream in a cup. I think this Mothership Coffee location is my favorite out of all the ones I've been to (both Henderson locations, Summerlin location, etc.) It's located in Fergusons Downtown in downtown Las Vegas near where the Vegas Test Kitchen used to be. It has such a unique vibe, the building itself being really different from other coffee shops. Service was fast and the quality of the food and drink were really good. I like that they have reusable tableware and cups. The glass cup for my iced almond milk matcha was a nice touch. The iced matcha latte here was exceptionally good, even compared to other Mothership matchas I've gotten at other locations. Went here as we were heading home from our most recent Vegas trip. I have local friends that frequent it. They did not disappoint. We both got their special flavor, blueberry white mocha. Portions of the purchase are donated to fight leukemia. The staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the repurposed hotel turned into businesses that it's located it. We also got food. I got the blueberry scone which was loaded with blueberries and my daughter got the ciabatta breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. The overall vibe of this location is worth checking out. read more

Amazing find. We accidentally found it when we tried to go to PublicUs but the line was insane. In need of good coffee, Yelp led us to Mothership. 10/10 rec. We got the Butterbeer Latte (iced, delicious, Harry would be stoked), the strawberry milk matcha (!!!!!!! Ssooooo good!!), and iced espresso. Everything was deliciously and quickly made. We also ordered the Mothership Melt -- which is like a Croque Monsieur with Texas Toast. It was perfectly crispy on the surface, chewy where it needed to be, the cheese was complex and rich. None of it felt heavy or greasy, which seems like a difficult feat to accomplish on a sandwich like this. We also got the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie. Divine. Not too sweet -- rare in America. Subtle yet complex flavors, reminded me of a soft Amaretto cookie with cocoa. Soft, chewy, perfectly warmed. There was seating despite being busy. Staff was efficient and kind. The manager was on top of it, polite and managing the workflow like a queen. Merch is top tier. Even the smaller things like the cups and the napkins are beautiful. Little touches pull everything together. The location is within a motel-turned-shopping-plaza, so there's seating outside, clean bathrooms, people watching, and great vibes. Awesome spot. Always love finding a great coffee shop when we travel. Mothership has been on our list for so long, and we finally visited. It was well-worth the wait! Both inside and outside of this coffee shop are like an oasis in the desert. Beautiful grassy area that's perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee when the weather is nice. Inside you'll find a chic cafe with plenty of comfortable seating options - much larger inside than I expected. Their whole menu looked incredible, difficult to decide what to drink. Their Chai White Chocolate was delish - the sweetness of the white chocolate complimented the spiciness of the chai well. Their Red Velvet London Fog was a great twist on the classic London Fog. Both a bit sweeter but still refreshing. No bathrooms inside, but there's nice public bathrooms a short walk away. Drinks are a bit pricier - I paid nearly $20 for two drinks. But they were tasty, and the ambiance was nice. Parking was actually surprisingly easy. Highly recommend. read more

Yelp! review #49 of 2025 Came here with a group for an American Sign Language club meetup, and the space worked okay for a casual gathering. The staff was friendly and the service was generally good, they were welcoming and got our drinks out quickly. My wife and I both had a vanilla latte, which was solid and well-made. The big letdown was the food situation: when we tried to order around 3pm, almost everything was sold out. They literally only had one protein option left, so most of the menu was unavailable. I ended up with just an empanada (which was tasty, but still). A little more organization/restocking toward the evening would go a long way, especially since they host events. We'd probably come back for coffee or a quick daytime bite, but I wouldn't count on food options later in the day. read more
