He and I immediately established the kind of patient/physician relationship that is so critically important. I felt so confident with him that I left my own internist who I had been seeing (who is also a personal friend) and established my general healthcare with Dr. Tesfau. He is a kind and compassionate physician who also treats me with respect and dignity. He is very thorough and goes to great effort to make sure every possible issue has been considered prior to making a diagnosis. He is highly educated and extremely smart. I would recommend Dr. Tesfau to anyone, and I urge you to schedule an appointment with him if you need an internist or if you need a different one. As for his staff, the front office staff is extremely courteous and respectful. Although his nurse is very smart and on the ball with things she is to follow up on, etc., I have not been able to establish with her then type of a relationship that is so important. She is not patient with me, and she does not have much personality, and she is very quick to speak and leave it at that. I wish she were just a bit kinder and softer and more compassionate. But, I am sure Dr. Tesfau will overrule any potential problems that I might ultimately have with her if that ever occurs. I do appreciate her promptness in getting things done and making sure that I am cared for. At the end of the day, she does what she is supposed to.

However, the staff must have changed because my brother had a very concerning experience. The issue was not the doctor but some of the staff. The man whp performed the stress stess test was rushed and seemed unorganized. He also had a very high reading of my brothers blood pressure. However, the next nurse didnt have a similarly high reading at all. My brothers pressure was fine. So there is a concern if he did the test right. One or two of the ladies assisting seemed very fidgity. As if they may have been under the influence of something. And on the day that my brother was going to have his test results read, he was called and told the office had lost his test results and that he needed to have the visit rescheduled. My brother is not happy with his experience at all. And again i highly recommended this office. I dont know if the office manager is hiring friends or family but some of the staff dont appear to be qualified at all for their position. Its too bad tge previous folks i encountered left. They were very professional.
