So, here I am re-teaching him everything my instructor taught me over 25 years ago. Lots of parents dont have the patience or the time OR some of the parent drive horrible themselves; which is why we send our kids to driving schools. We pay for them to learn how to drive the right way and that isnt being done. Lots of kids now just want to drive to be seen or "look cool" but I foresee a lot of tickets and/or accidents happening if this is the way they are being taught. When my daughter went to this school two years ago, she had a different instructor. Not sure what happened to the two previous guys but they did an awesome job with her.

I was recommended to this driving school by my neighbors. I did not have a good experience. The…read morelady I interacted with on behalf of my son was very rude. She was extremely rude to my son and this is where I informed her that her rudeness was not necessary. I was, then, informed that I should look elsewhere for a driving school. To be fair, I find the whole learning to drive process confusing. Perhaps, she finds that annoying. I had a lot of questions. I also came prepared with all the necessary paperwork and certifications. I felt as though I was respectful, but when she was belittling my son, I felt it was my job to let her know that was enough. My son stood by me, did not speak much. When questions were asked, it took him awhile to think and answer. Maybe he took too much time, but again this process is new to us. Calling a child deaf and mute is completely inappropriate.

He didn't see her and told her "This is America, I don't know what y'all do in Colombia but you need to get with what Americans do. You should have walked over to my car at 9am." He also called me and repeated this same message. Dan taught her parallel parking and she doesn't know how to part forward facing into a spot. The manager said today because regular parking isn't on the test . We are having trouble with turns and staying in the lane. I told the manager I was not happy and shared our experience. He said Dan is an excellent teacher and not racist because he's Hispanic. I never called Dan racist I said I was offended by that comment. It's unkind to tell someone that. Our driver doesn't know the basics and uses her blinker at roundabouts and leaving the driveway. Dan told her to use the blinker each time she goes left or right. The manager recorded my call when I was complaining and I asked to speak to someone else. He was not helpful at all. I didn't feel heard or like he cared. I would not recommend this driving school to ANYONE. Complete rip off. They will just take your money.

We did look at other schools in the area and even tried one of them out, and another that we cancelled because they did not show up on time. After looking at a lot of reviews Safeway Driving First Colony had the highest satisfaction rate so we opted to try them. There were other schools that cost less but so were the reviews. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is definitely one of those times. We are 100% satisfied with the service and highly recommend.

They answered all of my questions with ease, and my my decision to sign up for their program without any hesitation. They also had a promotion at this time, so I lucked out with paying a little less than their original price. I'm a 31 year old new driver, and I can't believe how driving for the first time came became so easy with their guidance. At first the 6-hour online class seemed a bit dreadful, but in hind sight it was extremely helpful and I learned a lot. I took my lessons, and passed my DPS driving test through Safeway all within a month. I would suggest Safeway to all new drivers, and recommend Nagib as an instructor! Will Thornton was the instructor for the DPS driving test and taught me new tricks and tips even in my last session before the driving test. At Safeway, you have an option to book an hour session for your DPS driving test. You get a 45 minute refresher session and get tested in the last 15 minutes. I felt comfortable and confident and passed my test with very few mistakes!
