This is a great first-summit and a great intro to mountaineering! (the South Spur route) The hardest part of climbing Adams is waiting for the road to thaw out, it keeps snow well into summer. There is excellent camping at a large flat area below the false summit, known as "the lunchcounter". There is also incredible glissading from said false summit.
