Throughout the year, in addition to its regular meetings, events are hosted, which draw Freemasons from surrounding counties and far beyond. As seen in the photos that I've posted, the building includes a large meeting room with a balcony surrounding and a full stage. Other features include a library, and a multipurpose room on the main floor with a full kitchen for members to enjoy meals together. As with other Free and Accepted Masonic Lodges in Ohio, inquiries are welcomed about membership and the requirements to become a Freemason. Most Lodges have a website presence, and if you can't find that, the Grand Lodge of Ohio also has information on their website. Ladies organizations, such as the Order of Beauceant and Order of Eastern Star are also available. Youth groups are likewise available, including Order of Demolay for young men, and Job's Daughters as well as Rainbow for Girls.

At this location, you'll find the shop where Lockhart Ironworks creates their goods, the blacksmithing school and a store where they sell their wares. The owner and operator, Doug, is very passionate about blacksmithing and teaching this lost art to a new generation. Lockhart Ironworks / Southern Ohio School of Blacksmithing offers classes during the weekend that teach children (ages 12 and older) how to create metal objects with their own two hands, and then they get to keep them. Classes are all day and include lunch. Doug has a real heart for imparting his decades-long knowledge of metalwork and blacksmithing to children, and by the time I finished talking to him, I wanted to sign up for a class myself! You will find Lockhart Ironworks' metalwork all over the town of Logan and the Hocking Hills area. We were staying in a cabin in the woods of Hocking Hills, and I noticed that the towel holder was from Lockhart Ironworks (I could tell because it had their signature heart shape at the end). They also create quality cookware, which you can buy from their on-site store, or order from their website.

We had a 50 year old concrete septic tank and the top collapsed. The local public health…read moredepartment and the Ohio EPA determined which type of tank was needed to replace the old system. Our home is situated above a steep slope with limited access to the back of the property where the tank had to be located. There were some other physical-location factors that made the installation difficult. Bedrock Earthworks LLC was chosen because they were on the public health department's list of approved installers, and they gave a reasonable bid to install the very expensive tank. The new tank was ordered and when it came in, the installers arrived when they said they would. The old tank was pumped out, collapsed and filled in. They installed everything in a short time. The health department came out and approved the installation. We worked with Bobby at Bedrock Earthworks LLC and he was knowledgeable and helpful. They were extremely efficient and professional. We would highly recommend Bedrock Earthworks LLC.

They are the kindest, most caring people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. My husband and I have been to so many different funeral homes that we have walked out saying they looked so unnatural, and not real. I can say without hesitation that Rhett is a perfectionist and has an artist's touch in making your loved one look just as if they were sleeping, as did his father before him. After reading some of the previous reviews and having the opportunity to work for them for a short time, I can tell you that you would have never been asked to leave the Funeral home without a very good reason, such as drugs, alcohol, or crude behavior that might reflect poorly on their character and the integrity of his business. Not only does this family care deeply for loved ones who have suffered loss, but their entire communities surrounding them.
