She is like my own magical restorer of me, like some mythical healer you would go on a quest to find. I want her in my life forever. I would give up chocolate for a monthly massage from this woman. Seriously can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Bangkok Thai Massage and Spa for helping me today, I genuinely appreciate it.

From the moment I walked in, I felt at home and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk greeted me with a smile, and although I did not have an appointment they fitted me right in. The shop was extremely tidy and clean, exactly what you would want and expect. The massage therapist that looked after me was named Dar. You could tell she certainly knew what she was doing. There was a wide range of massage therapies to choose from, I went with the deep tissue massage. I suffer from chronic neck pain and when I pointed this out, the massage therapist was very accommodating. She was also very co-operative with the pressure level I am comfortable with. This is where a lot of massage shops fail in not providing suitable pressure. I will be recommending Bangkok Thai Massage to all my friends!

I asked around at work if anyone could recommend me a massage therapist that was skilled in Cranial sacral work. Linda came highly recommended! Linda is a an amazing and talented massage therapist who also has cultivated her gifts to heal with energy as well. It is a rare gift that I am so grateful that she shares with others. She doesn't just massage you, she uses energy to realigned your body in a way that you will the effects from days after a treatment with her. After my first session with her I actually cried because I felt so wonderful and could feel my body healing.(and that's only the 4th time I have ever cried in my life out of sheer happiness!) I felt more like my true self than I have in years. She is so positive and caring and you can feel it. Whenever she found a part of my body that was tense or needed some work, she would put her hand there and have me do some gentle stretches and suddenly I can feel the pain draining away. It literally feels like sludge being drained from my body, leaving me a feeling of being cleansed and rejuvenated mentally and emotionally. When she touched my head it felt like her fingers reached into my brain and released the tension within that was causing my migraines. A massage session with Linda is more than just a massage it's an experience of healing and rejuvenation that goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before. Thank you Linda for helping me heal with your wonderful gift of healing! Looking forward to my next treatment with Linda

I've had chronic lower back pain, have the worst posture ever and have been working long nights for awhile now and it's been building up and resulting in a ton of stress and tension, stiffness and overall fatigue. I've had massages before and nothing really worked at loosening up the tension in my back for longer than a day. Linda doesn't provide typical massages--she genuinely figures out your personal aches and pains and focuses her work in your problem areas. She is exceptional at diagnosing exactly where my problem areas were and even better at explaining what's going on in your body which made the experience a lot better than just your typical massage. I was able to learn a lot about how my habits affect my general well being. It goes without saying that a 30 minute session with her relaxed and rejuvenated me. I felt great and will definitely be back!! Thanks Linda!

THAT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!…read more A friend of mine came by and saw this new massage shop called Welcome To Massage in Mt. Gravatt near the Garden City Shopping Centre. Yes, its name sounds fun. I visited on their first day (it seems) and I was welcomed for massage. I was given a great relaxation for my day with an hour long massage. The building and overall theme from outside seem well-set for us to experience getaway from our daily tensions and stress. They had a café-themed area within the building and I spent 2 hours there with a cup of coffee after massage! I drove my car to get there and had no issue with parking. Definitely recommend here to my mates all around.

The rooms are divided by regular walls but curtain doors. Any noise made in the other rooms or hallway can easily be heard, but they're good about keeping a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The music they play isn't too loud but absolutely lovely! So relaxing! Prices are very reasonable as well; $119 AUD or $89 USD for the 90min massages. Love this place and intend on coming back!

If you have never experienced a tunia Chinese massage, you're missing out. But be prepared to be…read morepoked and prodded. Traditionally tunia massage consists of acupressure and massage techniques that aim to directly influence the flow of Qi (or Chi, your life source) and treats the whole body, mind and spirit, while allowing the body to heal itself naturally. Blocked Qi = sluggish body. This is all theoretical of course as no one can prove that your Qi actually exists, but I do feel a whole lot better (albeit a little bruised) after one of these massages. There is no skin contact in this massage as the therapists place a sheet between their limber fingers and your clothing. So no undressing either, yay! Prices range from $20 and up, and you can choose between areas you would like to get treated: head and shoulders, full back, scalp, reflexology....the list goes on. The treatment times for each area varies as well, from an express 15 minute neck and shoulder to a full hour of unparalleled bliss and poking. And unblocked Qi of course. The staff here are friendly and leave you to get your bliss on, only to be interrupted once with a gentle, 'is the pressure okay?' For the price and the treatments I really rate this place highly. I feel great after one of their massages and like the unintrusive nature of the technique. However if you don't like the idea of being massaged in a fishbowl (it's a glass shop front), you may want to skip this. But I say toughen up buttercup, because it's well worth it.

Well, Boran must have known I was suffering from my particular strain of Mac Back pretty bad and finally after a few months of regularly driving past their Ashgrove clinic (It's on Wardell Street on the stretch between Enoggera and Ashgrove), I finally booked an appointment. I could book online so they were already winning in my book. Then, I discover for December only they had 20% off all remedial massages. Two out of three checks in the "heck yes" box. After completing the standard new client paperwork, I was shown to the treatment room. The Ashgrove clinic isn't full of frills but that's not what you're hear for. This isn't a day spa experience where you're paying just as much for their on-call interior designer as you are the treatment. No, Sir. This is 100% about the treatment. My therapist conducted an initial assessment of how I was sitting, my neck and then we were underway. She focused on the key pain points but was also upfront and honest that in one 60min treatment we wouldn't get to address everything. Even so, I walked out of Boran 60 minutes later feeling far more relaxed and at ease than I had in weeks. They've got Hi-Caps on site which means you're only paying the gap from your health fun and did I mention online booking?

With a modern yet traditionally inspired Thai interior and aesthetically pleasing decor this place promotes relaxation from the moment you walk in. Many people are too busy through the week to stop and think about their well-being and often their minds become overtaken by the worries of the here and now and before they know it, and just when they get a chance to wind down their body captures up with their mind, soon becoming sick and exhausted. I am a long time advocate of having a work-life balance and that means giving yourself time to wind down and de-stress through the week, not just on the weekend. I guarantee that if you book into Brisbane City Thai Massage mid-week and mention their online deal you will have a great value for money treatment that will relax and revitalize your body (even if you don't think it needs it).
