An absolutely AMAZING cemetery where you'd least expect it. It is surrounded by a neighborhood on…read moreone side and small businesses on the other. All the pioneers that settled St. Joseph are buried there and not just interred, but interred in style! As soon as you drive in, directly to your left and up the sloping drive is "Mausoleum Row." And these aren't your everyday, I'll-pay-over-time crypts. These are small works of eternal art, carved in marble, granite and whatever er else rich people can afford. The entire cemetery is well kept with plenty of easily visible signage. There are many, many mature trees, rolling landscapes and would probably be th great place to take walks. It truly is one of the most beautiful cemeteries we've ever visited.

I enjoy the serene stillness and peaceful resting people there. It is haunted and has spirits there that attach themselves to you, so don't be surprised to have a ghostly hitchhiker follow you home.

The headstones back there are old and mostly forgotten. They're tipping over, surrounded by weeds and long grass. However, on through the front gates and it's a totally different story! Surrounded by an upper middle class neighborhood, there are acres of rolling, grassy hills and monuments. They're are better taken care of by not by much. Some moved through there but titall forgot to weed wack. It looks a peaceful, serene park with lots of history and several families that are buried together. There are many, many different kinds of trees and lots of areas which look as though they have many visitors on a regular basis. Lots of fresh silk flowers and American flags decorate the grounds.

I wouldn't have my dog's funeral at this place!!!!!
