This realty company's flat fee MLS was the WORST EXPERIENCE and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've experienced in years. If you are putting your house on the market using a flat fee MLS service--DON'T USE THIS GUY. You will be sorry that you wasted almost $300. Go with a better realty company. I used the team at Mountain Lake Realtty to sell my home. Within hours my home was on all the major real estate websites (Zillow, Realtor, Coldwell Banker, Trulia) anything that queries the MLS. Within 8 hours we had our first showing and open house. Within 36 hours of posting we had offers coming in using the DocuSign tool so there is no guesswork. True it was a good selling market, but I was shocked about the quickness of the sale. I only write reviews for really good or really bad experiences, unfortunately this one is the latter, but I am going to give a very fair review of Mountain Lake Realty. Thomas was very nice up until I paid the fee and MLS went Active. He was very rude and hurtful throughout the entire process. I asked him a question one time and his literal word for word reply was "When I tell you to do something, then you do it". I also asked him for a second MLS printout after I asked him to correct his own mistakes as I wanted it to be 100% accurate, which you would think he would want MLS to be accurate also, and he gave me a hard time saying "I will, but this is the last time". Also, when the photo people changed the photo shoot appointment due to illness, he automatically blamed me thinking I cancelled which I did not. He also seemed to insinuate that I lost or took the lockbox, which I never even requested one. All of this even after I purchased his 'VIP Service'. I was afraid to ask him any questions and didn't feel at ALL that he was on my side. Home selling is stressful enough without all of that added aggravation. And to be fair, the positives I can say about Thomas is he was very responsive; every inquiry I had he replied immediately and I know he has a lot of real estate experience and knowledge.
