I've had a tank for 20 years and call for a propane fill before our road gets muddy or icy then they will not come. I have never paid late because I usually call and get the price BEFORE the invoice arrives -- and I pay cash not credit. I usually call for a fill with August summer prices but I was busy and called in early October, a bit of a rush because we are already getting rain. The lady rudely says, "you are a COD customer (cash on delivery, I had to look it up) so pay $460 then we will fill." I am 66 years old with an 800 credit rating; I have never been a COD customer anywhere in my life. She says she has no credit application on file. The comptroller is equally rude and says all these years I was COD. The CEO is MORE rude, I try to say a check will take 10 days from Maryland to Montana and he over-speaks me, "We require credit applications and you do not have one. This is a binary decision, take it or leave it." -- I am not changing a word.
