If you have the patience to maneuver their inefficient phone tree (which you cannot do without a touch tone pbone IE headset or car Bluetooth) you will more than likely not be reaching an American you will be speaking to an individual who has been given a job taken from an American. This move to cut costs for a dying company has also removed qualified people who understand that not all insurance billing is the same, good luck with your billing and authorizations being correct. Do not trust their word double check with your insurance for coverage and copay that will be requested on your own before seeing them. If you do see them and are referred to another provider for further treatment don't hold your breath, after multiple attempts to follow up on a referral I was promised and unable to reach the provider who promised the referral I gave up and went with another company... I JUST received a call from the referred provider THREE MONTHS AFTER I WAS TOLD I'D BE REFERRED. read more

In my 12 months with Mountainview Pain Center, I found the practitioners themselves, for the most part, likable. Some of them are more knowledgeable than others. However, my primary complaints have to do with how the business is run: the front desk (and more) is disorganized, the management seems insincere, and they are definitely attempting to maximize profits at the expense of their patient's care, with two and sometimes three patients per physical therapist for the same 40-minute appointment. read more

I have been going to the Southlands Office for PT, Dry Needling and Chiropractic and Arapahoe Parker for acupuncture for the past 3 weeks. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I feel comfortable and have made considerable improvements. I have seen Abhi for PT, Kim for Chiropractor and Lacey for Acupuncture, I always feel amazing when I leave both offices. I have to say that this is my first experience with acupuncture and I can't understand why I have never done it before. I feel so relaxed and like the weight of the world has been lifted off of me. I strongly urge you to reconsider going to Mountain View Pain Center for any type of care, especially chiropractic care. I was admitted to the hospital after going to Mountain View Pain Center, and now have a potentially chronic condition because of the chiropractic "care" I received from them. I saw one of their chiropractors who did a neck adjustment, and a couple of days later ended up in the hospital with an arterial dissection (a tear in an artery in my neck). The doctors and nurses in the hospital did not doubt that this was the result of the neck adjustment and said they see it all the time. I called Mountain View Pain Center about this incident, and was put in contact with the Highlands Ranch Office Manager, Carson. He put me in touch with Nikki in their incidents department who said my case would go to their head of Chiropractic Care. That was almost six months ago. I call basically every two weeks and have not gotten a single call back or response since then. The "direct numbers" I was given for Carson and Nikki go to voicemail every time, and despite leaving numerous messages, I have not received a call back. To monitor/ manage the condition, I now have to see a neurologist regularly, get CT scans every couple of months, and take three medications daily. In addition to this, although I never received a bill from them, I just got a notice that they sent an outstanding balance to a debt collection service, so now my credit is compromised. The incident itself was bad enough, but as another reviewer said, their customer service is horrendous and has made the situation even worse. read more

I was seen on 5-06-24 and told it would take 2-3 days to get insurance approval for an injection. It's now 5-17-24 and I've not heard anything. You cannot speak to a real person and if you try it dumps you in VM. I have left 3 messages and no response. You would think with the word pain in their name they would understand that everyday that goes by the pain is not easy to deal with but apparently they don't care. read more

This is a hard review to leave. I also wish no stars was an option. It takes me a lot to report negativity and I usually give the benefit of the doubt. I even continued to pursue my referral to MVP clinic after reading all of these reviews myself. I should have listened. There are some good providers, but I don't think they initially realize they are working for a highly unethical organization. Someone is pocketing and likely does not care about ethics. I had a great provider initially and he was suddenly gone with no warning or continuity of care. I was repeatedly billed much more than my insurance asked for and told I was incorrect and then had to provide my paperwork from Cigna to get them to correct it. I had to go to great lengths to remedy this. I also was coerced into the injection path. My card was charged by a 3rd party claims company on the same day as my visit without my authorization. The address is in the same building and the phone number is disconnected. When I called MVP they said it was not them and to contact my bank for fraud. I got a new card and did that, only to have my bank research it and find out it was in fact them. This is beyond unbelievable to me. How low will they go? I learned they are not better business bureau accredited. I should have listened to all of these reviews. I hope you will. Please find any other pain management before you consider them. read more

I give a 1-star review as a disappointed individual who is working to relieve issues with lingering pain associated with a motorcycle incident. However, if you're someone who's looking for a quack to prescribe you pain pills for your addiction, then this is probably the best place you could probably call! They were given a referral from a neurologist for me to have a cortisone injection. I called MVPC, scheduled my visit for the injection and *referenced my referral* and it seemed all was good. When I showed up for my appointment, I was surprised to find myself taken to a standard GP room and consulted on my pain levels. I said multiple times, "I thought I was here for an injection..." and was dismissed. "A lot of people get confused" and, when describing my symptoms, "you probably just had COVID." Coming out of the consult, I was hit for a bill for over $100 for an appointment I didn't need - then they tried to schedule me for chiro and PT and all sorts of follow-up treatments... I felt like I was being roped in to be milked for funds. I expressed my concerns at check-out and declined to schedule any follow-up visits with this office. As soon as I got home, I called my referring neurologist to get things clarified. They confirmed - I *should have been given an injection* - so now I'm still in pain and need to get the visit scheduled. Thankfully the other office pulled some strings for me and got me in the very next day. Fast forward 5 days... when I get a call back from MVPC to schedule my cortisone shot. Another one? Really? You reached out to my insurance to get approval and they gave it?!? And now you want to do the same procedure again? I'm pretty sure that would be quite dangerous for me - even if I did trust this outfit to touch me after the ineptitude they have displayed. Stay away. Protect yourself. First, these guys treat you like a criminal addict with pee tests. Second, they do not listen to a single word you say. Third, they lie. Fourth, they short change you on meds so you will use their very expensive injection regimen. Fifth, they are all about money- you will need to see them twice in a month the first month and they want to see you every 28 days after that. They disparage other clinics and want you to go there for chiropractic or anything else. I have arthritis, I have no cartilage in the bottom three disks and none in my thumbs, both of my big toes have been fused. I recently moved here and the pain doctor I had been seeing in our previous state of residence took his internship at the Mayo in Rochester MN... it does not get any better than that. I have been prescribed 270 tramadol per month for my pain management. I went to Mt View and saw not a doctor but an assistant named Jessie; apparently he thought he knows more about pain than my real doctor and prescribed 56 tablets for a month! I had my previous doctor send them a referral but they wanted me to take an MRI to prove to them that my doctor and I were not lying about my condition, they are not cheap! Also they wanted me to have very expensive injections in my joints, I have had them before I went on pain meds and the results were always spotty. It seems to me that they go light on your medication so you will be inclined to use their very expensive treatments at the facility. If you have money to burn and love injections go see these guys... if you want a doctor that looks out for your best interest; go elsewhere. I paid over three hundred dollars to get a prescription that cost less than three dollars!!!! read more

Combined this group has provided professional, customized care with significant benefits that I expect to be enduring. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I was treated by Dr Matthew Gray at the Mountain View Pain Center in Lone Tree in August 2021. I had a new patient visit with a PA where we discussed my case and formulated a care plan. My MRI from July showed that I had a cyst in my Lumbar region displacing 2 nerves. This cyst has led to inflammation and discomfort/pain. During my new patient visit, we discussed my care plan as first draining the cyst, then injection (or two as needed) to alleviate the inflammation. When I arrived for my procedure, Dr Gray's assistant told me that Dr Gray was only going to give me an injection - not drain the cyst. I asked her to retrieve my medical record so I could review it and my plan with Dr. Gray who agreed to both drain the cyst AND give me an injection (treat cause & symptom). But 5 minutes later in the procedure room when his assistant asked if he wanted a syringe to aspirate the cyst and he said no and did not explain. When I asked his assistant (he declined to see me post procedure) what happened, she advised that he decided to only give the injection and not drain the cyst. The injection only increased my discomfort over the next few days. I will to not go back to a provider who changes the care plan without notice or explanation. Instead I went to another provider who was able to treat my condition. I do NOT recommend Dr. Gray. read more

My husband starting seeing a PA there after a motorcycle accident and everything was going fine, started doing accupunture paying $60 a treatment, then they contacted him saying they want triple the money he was paying because he is in a civil suit , which he won't be getting anything because the other person doesn't have good insurance, so basically it seems they want their share of money which is wrong, and he had more accupuncture apps to do , so now we have to find a new acupuncturist , and will never go back there( MVPC) and reccomend to other patients to find a place that cares about your health, and not your money read more

This is a review I did not want to leave. I gave myself some time to think about it before posting it. But here goes...I was not impressed with Mountain View Pain Center for many reasons. First of all it is extremely difficult to talk to someone in the "office" as every call goes through a call center - no personal attention there. When I finally got an appointment I saw Dr Dana B. I was recommended to see him as my pain is different than most. My pain is complicated and shows itself in the form of vertigo and/or dizziness and involves possibly the Atlas. During my appointment Dr Dana B addressed my issues and said a lot of good things that gave me hope; hope that I could possibly be somewhat "normal" without vertigo or at least lessen the severity of those episodes. I was told to give it 3 days and I would hear from radiology to schedule the needed x-rays to begin my treatment. Then...everything went dark. I heard from NO ONE. I was even given the office manager's card to call "direct" but that was still going through the call center somewhere. So I began making calls; once again chasing people, doctors and offices to get answers. Not one person seemed to care enough to call me back. As my last call to "the office" I let Mountain View Pain Center and Dr Dana B know that I was not impressed with their care or lack of concern in my situation. read more

It took me a while to post this review but I think it's necessary for people who are looking to use this clinic. I had nagging shoulder and neck pain and thought chiropractic treatment and pain care management was needed. My initial exam Dr Grant was positive that my shoulder pain was due to my back being out of alignment and a few adjustments were all that was needed. I asked if a scan was needed and he did not think it was necessary. The very first adjustment given I was in excruciating pain. He recommended ice and to stretch. My shoulder pain got worse after the 2nd and 3rd adjustment. I insisted on a scan and guess what the scan showed, complete rotator tear, 2 partial tears and extensive arthritis in the shoulder. I would be very wary of this center, if they can't tell a rotator issue from a spinal issue then that is a big red flag. Please he careful with this clinic. read more

I would have given more stars for Dr. Grant, but I only went to him once. After that it went downhill. First off, the physical therapist, who spent about 15 minutes TALKING to me, and did not barely touch me , charged my insurance $270.00. My kids saw what she did, thought it was ridiculous, (printed off some exercises for me, and sent me home). I said MULTIPLE times I did NOT want to go on the decompression contraption. On my final visit ( BY MY CHOICE ), I was told to get on it, it would feel better. I could not walk for over a week afterwards. This place is a get them in and out type of place, charging hundreds of dollars for things that do not work and leave you feeling worse than when you came in. The chiropractor literally is just there to adjust, nothing else. read more

I was looking for a new chiropractor for long term treatment. I decided to try this place using a Groupon. The receptionist was friendly and I was able to get in quickly. The massage therapist was AMAZING, she really helped with a few locked up muscles. I was very, very unimpressed and disappointed in the chiropractor. He spent less than 5 minutes with me even though I stated I was a new patient. He didn't ask any questions about my pain or symptoms and did a very brief adjustment. At the front desk she remembered that I was a "Groupon client." I said that I was looking for long term treatment and then she handed me the new patient packet. I found this really off-putting that it was so obvious they hadn't treated me like a "real new patient" because I used a Groupon. It also explained why the Dr didn't do any type of exam or evaluation. It really rubbed me the wrong way. I have used Groupon to find many services that then turn into a regular provider. I probably won't go back, the Dr was so off-putting, I felt like I was an inconvenience for him. read more

I went here using a Groupon and the service was very nice. I liked the staff as well, but one of the girls tried selling me a monthly package and said my health insurance might pay for most of it. Cool, that sounds good to me. I give her my insurance info and she says I'll get a call a day later. No call came, so I call back three days later and ask if they made any progress on it... she said she would call the following day... no call. Fine, I guess you don't really want me to buy that monthly package you mentioned. Six months later I decided I would give them another shot because they're close to my house and the Dr.'s there were good, so I try again to get them to quote me the monthly cost with my insurance. They take it down, tell me they will call back... no call. They may be great at their services, but they could use better help at the front desk. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I think its worth noting if you plan on going here on a monthly basis. read more

I have been going to MVPC for over a year now (I've seen many other PT and Chiropractors in the past with no progress) and everyone there is very kind and helpful. I am 5 months pregnant and Dr Johnson and Dr Courtney have been successfully helping me with my cervical spinal injury before and during pregnancy. They are great listeners and Dr Johnson has been the only doctor that was able to diagnose my injury and continue to treat me even during my pregnancy. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. The PT massages are amazing and help so much with my pain. I would recommend MVPC to any family or friend, and I plan on continuing to be a patient after my pregnancy. read more

I am so glad I found Mt. View Pain Center. I went there to rehab my shoulder after joint replacement surgery. It is very convenient that they do physical therapy, massage , dry needling and chiropractic care all in one location & I took advantage of everything they offer. The staff is great and they have multiple locations. I have seen many different chiropractors with varying results. Some will try to tell you that you need endless care but the doctors here will treat you until you are better & don't try to force unneeded services on you. I highly recommend them. read more
