I plunked a minimal amount of money into the landscaping in the front yard to get by and in 2016, I hired System Pavers to depo my remaining pavers of the front patio and install a brand-new Patio. Excellent Work and craftmanship! Moving forward to 2022, I contracted with System Pavers, again, to completely renovate my backyard, side yards, tear out the front porch, concrete sidewalk, and borders along the driveway, which they replaced with pavers. And what a fabulous and impressive job they did! Jon Orr, Design Consultant, Jesus Rivera, Project Manager, the paver contractor, Julio & his crew, Lester, Turf contractor, were outstanding in their professionalism, courtesy, and craftmanship /skills of the trade. I spent over two hours with Jon in their Design Center and his professional demeanor, customer service skills, and great personality in providing a memorable experience in my goal to make my ultimate landscaping dream come to life, with renderings and walking through the design center, explaining the different pavers, and offering options which was a wonderful experience. Project Manager, Jesus Rivera, kept me updated on every action, completion and engaged me when needed, with questions or confirmations. They meticulously planned electrician work, delivery of inventory and kept me posted along the way. In the backyard, I contracted for pavers, mow trims, a beautiful waterfall, river rock, and AstroTurf. In the front yard, they contracted for pavers, which matched my patio pavers, mow trims, another beautiful waterfall, river rock, and Astroturf to replace my front lawn. I am so impressed with this company and the employees. Anytime I reached out to Jon, Jesus, or Julio via phone or text, their response was immediate, and either they immediately resolved my issue or presented several solutions/options to choose from. I have received numerous compliments from my neighbors and have highly recommended and will continue to recommend System Pavers for design and landscaping. The only suggestion I have is for the owners of System Pavers, which is a company based out of California. Please consider the four seasons we have in Colorado when scheduling and completing projects. My project which was estimated to take 2-3 weeks ended up taking two months due to winter weather in Colorado. I got to tell you, seeing the crew out working in the low 20-30-degree weather was concerning. The ground was too hard to dig, covered in snow, and presented a challenge to complete the project promptly. The crew worked tirelessly to complete this project. Jesus continuously checked in with me, concerned about the project length, which honestly, I was perfectly fine with the extended time. However, other customers might not, especially if they have vacation plans, etc. In closing, I will say I am already planning my next project, in replacing my concrete driveway, and guess who I will be contracting? It has died because they did not remove the old topsoil when the old grass was removed, they just sprinkled a thin layer of home store topsoil on top of the hard, packed clay that was there. They did replace some of the sod but that was dead within 10 days in spite of our sticking to a proper watering schedule. You can peel it up like an area rug and the soil underneath it is rock hard. They charged me $1600 and will not make it right or stand behind their work.

My review is from the perspective of installing full front and back yard landscaping on brand new…read moreconstruction. I reached out to Jordan to discuss the potential of an install. We were installing on virgin ground for brand new construction. We started discussions in April, and we had a base design turned around within a week. Couldn't have been more excited. Unfortunately, the first design was outside of our price tolerance. Ongoing communication between Jordan and me ultimately resulted in an agreed upon design at an agreed upon price. Concessions were made on both sides, so if you're worried about a "pricier product" understand that you can factor about 10% of your home value for a full landscaping. We were able to come in about 2% below that mark. Once were agreed and began moving forward with installation, Jordan was wholly communicative, accommodating, and patient. I'm a needy MFing buyer. I want perfection. I want to know every answer to every question. With that being said, Jordan maintained an extremely direct but professional approach, making sure to keep my expectations in check, and remind me what is feasible as opposed to my ridiculously (and admittedly ignorant) taut desires. A caveat: be willing to be wrong! You're hiring these guys because they're professionals and because you either A) don't know how to do it, or B) don't want to do it. I fell in line with both. Jordan ultimately gave us our scheduled begin date of Aug 23. Admittedly later than we'd have liked to get installed, but expectations were set in our first discussion. "What needs to happen and how long will it take to get on the schedule," should be one of the first questions you ask. Just because you have a conversation, doesn't mean you automatically get scheduled. #expectationsmanaged Imagine my surprise when I got an email from Jordan asking if we were available for an early install! EFF YES, WE ARE! Get in here, and get it done! We couldn't have asked for a better install crew. They showed up a week and two days ahead of schedule. Knocked on the door and promptly introduced themselves. The Foreman, Stephen, set the expectation of what was going to happen, what the order of operations were, and immediately started scraping my yard. Again - I ask a million questions. I'm excited and curious and need to know ALL THE THINGS! Stephen took the time to clearly and completely answer every question I had, never showing an amount of frustration that I was overly inquisitive, but encouraging the question and the discourse. My questioning was predominately to serve three purposes: 1. Give me your opinion. I THINK I know what I want, but you're the professional. I know my pie-in-the-sky view comes from a place of ignorance, (See number 2) not necessarily a place of reality or function. 2. Cure my ignorance. I know NOTHING about landscaping, irrigation, plant and lawn maintenance. Fix my idiot brain. 3. Satisfy my curiosity. I have no idea what's going on or why they're doing what they're doing. We were met every morning by the same crew who knew exactly what the collective goals were, and every opinion, idea, or need for concession was met with a thoughtful approach from Stephen and his crew. When he had an idea that may not necessarily align 100% with the intended plan, he had a strong reason for it, and a thoughtful implementation for it. Two straight weeks of waking up and watching the progress shift from a gross field of pervasively invasive weeds, to a functional, flowing, and extremely aesthetically pleasing lawn is an event I won't soon forget. If you're willing to pay a little more for a little more love and personality, do yourself a favor and call Bath. If you're disappointed, it's because you didn't ask the right questions or you didn't maintain expectations. Bo out.
