Well what a great store such a large selection of prom and bridal dresses, we found all staff lovely and friendly and with such a lot of experience and helpful advice /guidance, the after care and help was brillant don't think you would find this anywhere else as we needed to change a wedding dress which was purchased months back due to requiring a larger size, at time we only had a few weeks till wedding. I have to say they were so helpful they resolved the issue and replaced dress with larger size with attention to every detail service we received was 100% plus can highly recommend the shop and team, you took away all the stress and upset that my niece and her mum were going through, thank you so much hope you continue to do well in the future it's well deserved. I went to Mousetrap to look for a prom dress, and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Lauren was amazing and so lovely and kind, and really made the experience one to remember. This shop is terrible, window looks quite attractive and draws you in but its quite east end market once you start looking round, loads of stuff is falling apart on the rails and the staff were quite pushy. Definitely a shop for tweenagers looking for terrible prom dress's in cheap fabrics for £300 or cardigans for £9.99. Random and bad avoid if you have any taste. read more

If you aspire to be like Jordan or Jodie Marsh then this shop is perfect you, if you however have any taste then don't bother. Some styles are just over priced for what they're made of and the cheaper clothes are exactly that cheap. Some of my friends regretted getting their prom dresses from here and wished they got them in Pushka like i did. The staff in Mousetrap are friendly but thats the only good bit of feedback i'm afraid. The changing rooms are awful you have to share with other people in one communal changing room and the shop itself is so crammed with poufy tacky dresses that when there's more than 4 people in the shop it gets really uncomfortable. read more

Agree with Kitty very cheap and tacky, i'm no snob but this is bad. I love shopping but this experience wasn't inspiring, its like boutique shopping might have been 20 years ago. Some of the stuff looks as though its been there for 20 years also. Someone mentioned Jordan and Jodie Marsh but i don't think even they would shop here. read more

We were drawn into the boutique by the gorgeous frocks in the window. And we were not disappointed unlike some others. Not only are the dresses to die for, but reasonably priced too. Pushka had hardly any choice and the man in there was trying to persuade a young lady to buy a long dress that did nothing for her. We will definitely go back to Mousetrap, where the staff are friendly and offer a super service. read more

Visted this fab shop with my sister and neice when looking for a prom dress. Though it was a Saturday and they were busy every girl was made to feel like a princess and the lovely owner Lisa went out of her way to find the perfect dress for every girl. NOTHING was to much trouble and she gave lots of tips and advice on all things to do with proms. She was a real star and when its my daughter's turn I WILL be going to see her for her dress. When I went into Mousetrap I didn't know what sort of dress I was looking for, I just wanted a prom dress that I would feel comfortable in and wouldnt feel out of place in.The manager and her staff took the time to let me try as many dresses as I wanted and gave me the right advice which dress suited me the best.In the end they found me an amazing dress and when I was at prom everyone said I looked stunning. I couldn't thank everyone at mousetrap enough there service was beyond 5 stars.There is something for everyones taste.I'll be going back to buy my 18th party dress. read more

We were really dissapointed with our visit here. My daughter had heard about this shop and wanted to come here for her prom dress about 2 years before her actual prom. We were looking early to avoid the rush in January. Some of the dresses look lovely but with hefty price tags and some are cheap that also look cheap. She found 3 potential styles that she liked but needed help to get them on and off. The staff were too busy doing something behind the desk and giggling. Obviously no regard for their customers who clearly needed help. The girls looked about the same age as my daughter and looked like the wannabe cast from TOWIE with big false eyelashes and really bright tacky makeup. I had second thoughts about being in the shop with my daughter and got her out quick before she got brainwashed and wanted to try anything tacky. Its funny how you have preconceptions about a place before you get there and then realise its all just a load of bad hype. I shall be telling people not to bother and spend their money elsewhere. read more

I've just visited the new store in Havant. The store is beautifully laid out and the staff were very helpful. I was offered dresses that ranged in price from £3,000 to £6,000 however I visited a bridal salon in Botley in the same week, they had exactly the same range of dresses (and some better) priced far more realistically at between £300 - £600. I kid you not, go to Botley. read more
