You get texts and emails and even phone calls from the delivering drivers just before they arrive. Delivery was during the assigned time period and prompt. The drivers were nice to deal with. As soon as I walked in, a sales person approached us so I told her the item and she walked us right to it. The price was removed from the sticker so she said she'd look it up on the computer. After spending 10 mins attempting to find it, she asked for all my personal information and started a purchase page. I had no intention of buying a couch without knowing the price, but she said she couldn't get to the next page of the screen without filling out this information, and made excuses saying she had to start putting in delivery information as it would take months before they could deliver... Finally as I looked onto her screen, I saw her go to the company website and look up the price, which I could have done myself in 20 seconds... Overall, waste of 30 mins and we left without a purchase.

Due to the pandemic, I found out this was not an easy task. Chest freezers were on back order since March 2020, especially since I was looking for a specific brand. I was searching for a local appliance shop, and spoke to Anthony. There happened to be one freezer left, since a customer changed their mind! He confirmed the freezer was brand new, and the box was unopened, before I made the purchase over the phone. I am so glad I decided to buy locally, and support a family owned business. When we picked up the freezer, everyone was incredibly friendly and super helpful! The freezer is fantastic, especially when items are on sale, and we are not limited to one tub of ice cream now - LOL! Thanks so much for your kind assistance Anthony!

    very bad service. the guys who installed our laundry machine didn't have a long enough hose so they…read moretaped two together without telling me. a year later we found out when a funny smell was coming from our laundry room, and I moved the laundry machine out of the way just to find out our Drywall was covered in mould because the hose had been leaking inside of the wall when I called them to ask them about it the owner was aggressive. Denied any responsibility and said they would not do anything to help me with it. Also, any repairs they've done have been extremely overpriced. I would highly recommend not using them.

    I typically don't drop by any Home Depot store because it's huge and it takes me forever to find a…read morespecific item. It was the case when I first stepped into a Home Depot in Rochester, MN. I spent a good thirty minutes trying to find tubing. Well, I was in the area picking up baked goods and bubble tea. I needed some heavy duty 3M Command strips and thought that I'd try finding some here. I didn't have any problems finding a parking spot. There were so many. I settled for a spot and backed into it. I then walked into the store. I saw express order lockers when I walked through the first set of automatic doors. Cool! There are washrooms on the right when you first walk in. I realized that I needed a pit stop. The women's washroom was super clean and nicely maintained. I'm not sure whether I had a ton of luck on my side during my first visit, but I found the 3M Command section right off the bat. Should I go to Vegas and bet my entire paycheque playing slots? Perhaps. I found the strips that I needed after spending a good five minutes looking at all options. The selection was impressive. I recently returned to look at batteries. They have everything from ones for your watches to 9 volt batteries that I rarely use these days. It was a nice touch seeing hydrangeas last week. It felt like Spring just before it snowed again. Ugh! I paid at one of the self-checkout kiosks. Each kiosk has a massive scanner that actually felt good holding it. It was surprisingly ergonomic and effective. I paid with a debit card. It was a smooth transaction. I happily left this store without spending half an hour looking for a single item. It's a cool store. I feel good returning here. It's now my lucky Home Depot. (83)

    I am writing to report a serious safety incident that occurred immediately after renting a trailer…read morefrom your store at 1201 Castlemore Avenue, Markham, ON L6E0G5. At the time of pickup (approximately 4:00 PM), I personally connected the trailer to my vehicle. Before doing so, I clearly informed your employee that I was not fully familiar with how to properly connect the trailer. He then came outside and provided basic guidance on how to connect it. After I completed the connection, the employee told me that everything was fine and that I was good to go. To be certain, I asked him again to confirm whether everything was properly connected and safe to leave. He reassured me a second time that I was fine to go. At no point did he perform any inspection or verification of the connection. He did not check whether the coupler was properly secured, did not verify the safety latch or pin, and did not check the trailer lights. Shortly after leaving the store--approximately one block away--I noticed that the vehicle did not feel stable. Within moments, the trailer became detached from the hitch, creating a dangerous situation and resulting in damage to my vehicle. After the incident, I contacted the store and a manager arrived on site with another employee. While attempting to assess the situation, they observed that the trailer coupler was not properly securing onto the hitch ball. Specifically, the coupler did not fully engage or lock onto the ball, and instead appeared to sit partially on top without properly securing, even though the pin mechanism could be inserted. I recorded a video of this condition at the time. During this interaction, once it became apparent that I was documenting the situation, the employees indicated they could no longer assist further and left the scene. At the time of writing this message, I have been waiting for over two hours for assistance or for the trailer to be retrieved, without any clear communication or resolution. Given the seriousness of this incident, I am very concerned about both the safety of the equipment and the lack of proper procedures followed at the time of rental and afterward. A proper verification of the hitch connection and safety components could have prevented this situation.
