Spinach and Feta Omelette
Stephanie H.

Kid invites me for breakfast this morning, I just had to go. A great little place for a quick bite to eat and a friendly hello. It's a small town small business restaurant that has amazing food and great customer service. They are always willing to go that extra mile to make sure you are happy. The staff definitely make you feel like you are at home. My French toast was so good with fresh fruit and a hot cup of tea. Kiddo had the Buffalo salad, an odd breakfast, but ok! He said it was good. Just the right amount of buffalo sauce. Highly recommend if ever in East Haven. They are open only till 3. Breakfast and lunch only.

Was in the area and looked for a quick place for breakfast. Wow! This omelette was EVERYTHING I was looking for. It had a delicious flavor and a nice kick to it. The home fries I think might be the best I've ever had. They too had a nice spicy kick to em. This place is an easy 5/5. I'm also seeing some other Mexican style things on the menu I want to try in the future. I will definitely be returning!

Cozy and casual place with great food and service. I had a breakfast sandwich and my son had a kid's special pancake with fruit and whipped cream. The portions were generous and everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back for breakfast and also to try the lunch specials.

Western omelet with toasted rye bread and hash browns. YUM!!!

What a great spot! Located in an unassuming shopping mall in East Haven, we were welcomed by an incredibly kind and warm staff. our server (didn't get a chance to get her name! was a young lady.) was SO sweet and kind and had great recommendations. Our table got the Western omelet which was amazing with gooey cheese added and wonderfully buttered rye toast, and hash browns per her recommendation. We also got the breakfast wrap...make sure you get the chipotle!! This was recommended to us, and was SO DELICIOUS! Would 100 percent come back again, and cannot recommend it enough!!

Consistently the best breakfast place in town! Quick and delicious. The house made hot sauce is incredible.

Lobster bisque was hot though pretty liquid-y. The Brussels sprout salad was by no means a salad. More of a rice cake with Brussels shavings on too but really good. Calamari was okay. Mac and cheese was eh, really liquidy as well. I did really like the crispy mushroom risotto tater tots. They tasted just like tater tots. As we were getting to our last bites and still eating, at least three different staff members within a matter of a minute asked if we're were done and could take our plates away. I would have given this place four stars had we not been bombarded at the end of our dinner. It felt like we were being rushed out even though there were tons of tables and seats still available. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

The workers were all very kind and attentive. The menu has a variety of options and they all sounds delicious. My friend and I split the grilled yellowfin tuna and crispy red snapper. Both were so good. Flavors were good and fish cooked well. Portions weren't overly filling but very yummy. I thought prices were fair for $30 an entree. Overall a lovely dinner.

The patio area is very pretty and set off the street so that you don't have people bugging you while you eat The brussels sprout salad was amazing as people say. Lots of truffle goodness and the risotto cake. The mushroom pappardelle was good, I got it without the chicken. The bread and butter here is also very delicious. And I enjoyed a mocktail on a hot day. The coconut Mojito tasted like the real thing. Definitely a great little escape the hectic of New Haven!

We went around 7 PM and were seated immediately without reservations, which was a pleasant surprise for a Friday evening. It wasn't quite warm enough for the patio, but the inside still had a cozy atmosphere that worked perfectly for a pre-theater bite. My cousin ordered the crab cake, and I went with the Brussels sprouts and risotto Parmesan tater tots. We were really just looking for a few appetizers before the show, but everything hit the spot. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and paired with thick savory slices of bacon, while the risotto Parmesan tater tots were crispy, cheesy, and hard to stop eating with the dipping sauce. Service was friendly, food came out quickly, and overall it was a relaxed and enjoyable experience before heading over to Yale Rep. Definitely reminded me why Harvest has been a longtime New Haven favorite.

It was quite steep, but since other local restaurants were booked, we decided to keep our reservation. I had been eager to return after several years, remembering previous excellent experiences. Because it was the Valentine's Day menu, it wasn't representative of their usual offerings. I missed the unique dishes they normally feature, but overall, it was still a pleasant evening. I had hoped to try their Arctic Char, but ended up with the salmon from the special menu. We started with an amuse-bouche of deviled eggs, which were fine. The ricotta appetizer was outstanding, with bright hints of lemon zest and balsamic, while the zucchini and carrots were less memorable. The salmon was enjoyable, though not my favorite dish, and I heard the steak was well-prepared. For dessert, the pistachio cake was tasty, though slightly dry, and was served with a pistachio and chocolate gelato. Overall, it was a decent experience, but quite pricey for the quality. I'm giving Zinc a 4-star rating, taking into account my past visits, which were quite good.
