We stop here after the airport for a quick breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious and the waitress was very polite and friendly and she was the only person taking care of all the tables btw. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. This place is very closed to the airport and I'm so glad it's, we will be stopping here from now on. A really good find for breakfast or lunch. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambience was pure Haven (unpretentious and authentic). I had a pair of perfectly cooked poached eggs set a top English muffins and placed next to corn beef hash that was very delicious. Kid invites me for breakfast this morning, I just had to go. A great little place for a quick bite to eat and a friendly hello. It's a small town small business restaurant that has amazing food and great customer service. They are always willing to go that extra mile to make sure you are happy. The staff definitely make you feel like you are at home. My French toast was so good with fresh fruit and a hot cup of tea. Kiddo had the Buffalo salad, an odd breakfast, but ok! He said it was good. Just the right amount of buffalo sauce. Highly recommend if ever in East Haven. They are open only till 3. Breakfast and lunch only. read more

Was in the area and looked for a quick place for breakfast. Wow! This omelette was EVERYTHING I was looking for. It had a delicious flavor and a nice kick to it. The home fries I think might be the best I've ever had. They too had a nice spicy kick to em. This place is an easy 5/5. I'm also seeing some other Mexican style things on the menu I want to try in the future. I will definitely be returning! read more

Breakfast staples like danishes, muffins and croissants are available but not made on site and not something to get excited about. Continued to ignore me for several minutes. A guy came in behind me and she asked him what is he having. I finally walked out. Will have lunch elsewhere. Lost my business. Cozy and casual place with great food and service. I had a breakfast sandwich and my son had a kid's special pancake with fruit and whipped cream. The portions were generous and everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back for breakfast and also to try the lunch specials. read more

Decided to give their breakfast a try today. I was here once before but left because it has a black painted ceiling & burgundy walls?!? Not appealing but since it's about food and not paint, I came back. I should have judged the food based on the interior because my eggs & home fries were greasy and my English muffin, which I asked to be toasted crispy, was barely toasted at all. It was disappointing. I was told the owners were new. I was hoping to be able to give them a nice review. Maybe they're so new there's a learning curve. read more

The entire experience here was abysmal. The omelets were over cooked, made with lunch meat, and tasteless. The potatoes tasted like they re-heated yesterday's portions- dry, bland, and stale. The toast came cold and slathered in margarine. The glasses and silverware were so dirty that we couldn't use all of our utensils. Whatever was great before, was lost. What a great spot! Located in an unassuming shopping mall in East Haven, we were welcomed by an incredibly kind and warm staff. our server (didn't get a chance to get her name! was a young lady.) was SO sweet and kind and had great recommendations. Our table got the Western omelet which was amazing with gooey cheese added and wonderfully buttered rye toast, and hash browns per her recommendation. We also got the breakfast wrap...make sure you get the chipotle!! This was recommended to us, and was SO DELICIOUS! Would 100 percent come back again, and cannot recommend it enough!! read more

We decided to give Moxie's a try since it's around the corner from our house. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. However, my omelet was very disappointing. When our waitress placed the plate down in front of me, it looked like a crepe not an omelet. It was a very thin layer of egg that was folded over with full strips of bacon, avocado and very little cheese. It lacked any type of flavor or fluffiness that omelets typically have. My bf said his Carolina sausage sandwich was good but the egg was slightly uncooked. While I would give them another try for lunch, an omelet is something I would not order again. read more

I'm excited to try non-breakfast items. But it's hard because everytime I come.. I like having breakfast because it's so good! The facility is clean and spacious. We had a really good breakfast at this greasy spoon! I had the western omelette and everybody else had french toast. When I asked about sides, the waitress recommend the tater tots, which were excellent Everything was made to perfection. The coffee was good and the refills were plentiful. This is the only diner I've eaten at where the chicken is not overcooked. The servings are enough for two meals, for me. I eat here at least once a week. I love this place. read more

We are SO glad the yelp reviews led us to this place. It is very convenient to our beach rental and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! It's fairly new, but it seems word has spread to the locals about how great it is. Not only the food, but the friendly service. We were highly impressed with their cheerfulness and professionalism. They know when to serve and when to leave you alone and ask just the right questions to serve you right. Try it. You will be impressed as well.
