On a motorcycle ride with wife and another couple, no destination in mind. Wound up in Cambria and stopped for a drink (I allow myself only one when I'm riding). We found Mozzi's Saloon, which appears to be THE bar in Cambria. It was maybe a little past noon, the place was full of people. Interesting and diverse crowd. Some were playing pool on the single table, some few at some tables, and a small crowd at the bar. The bartender was friendly and I was impressed with the relatively short wait, considering the volume she was handling alone. Our drinks were spot-on. Another employee kept the popcorn machine popping. Folks were friendly, and we met another couple who were also Harley riders. They came over and introduced themselves, and we may all meet up next week. Nothing fancy here, just the way I want a saloon to be. We will be back. read more

Came here on a early Saturday night, staying at folks 2nd home. (I am coming from S. Cali) Came around 8pm, recent Saturday. Free Popcorn- Beer of the month (always a special, we got Rolling rock for 2.50 all day/all nite) Mixed drinks, beers were cheap. One pool table, few TV's, one other table that looked like a pool table but it was for another game. Outside area in the back. People VERY mixed LOL from "locals, nice, drunks, old, odd drunks, young locals" The best way I could describe this place is a local, popular dive. Music was mixed from today's to some of the older locals music. When I mean older I mean like 50ish and above. Stopped in to check out the nightlife on a Saturday night. Cheap drinks and decent crowd. Everyone sorta knew everyone but were super nice. They even chatted us up. Soul Sauce played and were decent. Camozzi's has closed it's doors and placed upon it a sign that says "New Owner". This place gets a lot of credit for having a rocking reggae and soul band playing on a Friday night. The guys were really bringing down the house and had everyone in motion. So that was great. Everything else was either so-so, such as the beer selection and mixed drinks, or really bad, like the service and attitude from certain employees. read more

Cambria is a great town but it is not exactly a hot bed of activity. My girlfriend and i blew through this town and parked the motor home a few miles past here. Unhooked the Jeep and found this little gem. Mozzi's has a full cast of characters in there for sure. Our bartender was super cool. He is the big guy in the photo with me and my girl. Then the other photo is of the locals and one french dude on holiday. My favorite is when i put on "Beat it" by MJ on the Juke. Some toothless old dude came charging out of the head yelling ..."who played this , who played this?" Having no fear he was going to bite me, I raised my hand and he came over high fived me and started to moon walk and pop! Are you serious? Hell ya i liked this place! We had a blast. I seriously am looking for another run up the coast and want to do this place again without a doubt. read more

My mom and I were visiting Cambria and had asked around about a cool bar or pub to go to. Mozzi's was suggested to us by some locals and we decided it sounded like a place we would enjoy. I'm a big reviewer and like to check out yelp beforehand, so I did just that. I noticed, first thing which was good, that most of the reviews were positive. I did see a few lower reviews which made me curious so I read them. I found a majority of them were lower because patrons felt like they were not welcome and that they were overlooked more than locals who frequent Mozzi's. That was kind of something I was worried about in going to Mozzi's but I am SO glad we went with our gut. We walked into Mozzi's and could not have felt more at home! Everyone, including the patrons, were so nice, made room for us at the bar to order or sit and suggested beers if we had never had them before. In all honesty, we felt so comfortable and at ease that we felt like locals ourselves! The atmosphere was great, the decorations were so funky and cool, and it was very clean and well kept! But what made the experience even better for my mom and me was the bar tender, Heather. She greeted us with a big smile and an upbeat, cheerful, and welcoming attitude while still maintaining professionalism and knowledge about what she was suggesting and serving to us. She let me taste a few beers I was hesitant about because I wasn't familiar with them and told us a bit about the local breweries we weren't too familiar with. I'm a girl who likes a big and bold IPA, and I was very pleased with my choice of the Tap It IPA which was one of Heather's suggestions. Before we headed out, Heather actually came to see what we would be up to since she heard us talking about our plans and suggested even more cool things to do and some places to grab good beers on our way out. She sat with us and chatted for a bit, offered us muffins before we left, and ended our time at Mozzi's with a smile as well. I would highly suggest this place for anyone who enjoy neat bars and good drinks. You can bring in your own food, as they don't serve any, play pool, chat with other patrons, and enjoy your time for sure. We will absolutely be back when in the area again! read more

It's cool. It's funny. Tucker is awesome. People here are soooooo coooool.. and music..the Shantastic was cool.

A group of friends and I wandered in here the other day and left listing it as one of our favorite bars. The locals we mixed it up were very friendly and unlike some posts I see here, we were treated very kindly by the attentive bartenders even though we clearly were visiting. The outdoor patio is a nice option along with the bar and snooker tables. Wanted to play Galaga and Pac Man but the chairs next to the game (a sit down version), were bar stools and none others were available. My only complaint. Our mixed drinks were strong and reasonably priced. 5 Stars. No brainer. read more

We stayed in Cambria for our Honeymoon, and the town shuts down at 9pm, nothing open except Mozzis. We would go here anyways if they had more than one pub in the whole town though. I was walking down Main St., and happened by what I believe is to be called Mozzi's Saloon when hey open up. I was reading the signs on the window, and I believe Kellie is the new owner. Beautiful inside. Anyway the sign asked to promote your favorite beer, and since plan on visiting this establishment quite often since have friends in Cambria; would love to see Mendocino Brewing Co's "Eye of the Hawk," out of Hopland - Ukiah, CA, and after visiting Mustache Pete's that has their "Red Tail Ale" on tap, I found out from the bartender that Central Coast Distribution carries their products. I was definitely shocked at the exposure a Nor Cal brewing Co., has in such a quaint town. All the liquor stores have quite a selection of great beers, and most carry two or more different styles of brew from Mendocino Brewing Co., a brewery that is home to the oldest brewpub in CA, since prohibition. read more

You can't beat this non-threatening, easy access bar in a great location. Stay away on Fridays and Saturdays if you don't like crowds. My girlfriend got jealous when I ordered drinks from that over-sexed barending diva. I shall return, again and again. read more

This place rocks! As soon as my wife and I walked here in, we knew we had found THE bar in Cambria. This is a great locals hangout. Good selection of beer and wine(including a great zinfandel) plus they had a beer on special for $3/pint. All the locals we chatted with were friendly and they all seemed down for a good time on a Saturday night. We even came back later in the evening to hear some live music. The band(classic rock) started around 9 pm and they were jamming! Great cover tunes and even threw in some grateful dead songs to make us stoners happy. Mozzi's even has a little outdoor area out the back door great for smoking and/or fresh air if that is your thing. No food is served here but they do sell potpies from across the street. They even heat them up for you. We did have one potpie towards the end of the evening and it was a darn good one at that. Heather, one of the bartenders is awesome! We spent half our time talking to her and she was super cool. Thanks Heather for the great conversations! I don't know if and when we will make it back to Cambria...but if we do, Mozzi's will be our first stop! Maybe our last too! read more

First off let me start off by saying we love visiting Cambria and have done so many times. Our first time in Mozzi's was 7-21-18, we walked in around 10:00 pm there were a few people seated at the bar. We walked up to the bar, the bartender helped us right away and was very friendly and welcoming. All I can say is I had the best damn Jack and Coke...thank you for making me a real drink and not charging me $14.00 for a drink of coke like all the other bars do. The drinks are very reasonable. I'm surprised with some of the reviews; there was no sign of rudeness whatsoever. It makes me wonder what type of attitude these people walked in with in the first place. We had a good time and we will return again!!! read more

My wife and I and a couple of my buddies had drinks at the bar late October 2019. There was only one bartender but the place only had about 10 customers counting the four of us. The bartender was a very pretty young lady who had no problem keeping up with the customer orders. We had cocktails which she made very well. Her service was very prompt. We notice she had very little conversation with customers with the exception of a couple of local guys. I took away one star because she wasn't very friendly or personable with the customers. A pretty lady like that could do much better in tips if she smiled a little and talked to the customers. We stayed till the shift change when a gentleman took her place late afternoon/early evening. He said more to the four of us in two minutes then she did in the entire hour and a half that she waited on us. The bar was clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the pours were good. We just wished the bartender was friendly. In all fairness she may have been having a bad day. We did tip her well for the prompt service and good pours though! read more

The drinks are awesome and affordable, the crowd is fun, happy and super cool! There's a Digital Table Top Trivia Game, Karaoke on Thursdays, hosted by Sean, live music often, Theme (costume) parties, my personal favorite! Cambria is one sleepy town, especially on weekday nights. We rolled in half past nine and couldn't find a single restaurant still serving. Almost threw our hands up and got dinner from the gas station, but took a chance at the last minute and dove into Mozzi's. Ok, it was the only spot still open on Main Street. But a great scene - you can tell it's where the locals gravitate. They played good music as we watched the pool game in the back and poured hot sauce over our chicken and beef pot pies ($5). My girlfriend and I came to cambria for a little get away and on our first night we wanted a place to get some drinks. So I looked around online and found Mozzi's. The place has a friendly vibe so we felt real comfortable and not Intimidated since we weren't locals. The bartender was awesome!!!! Talked about the crap that they play on the radio and what happened to the good old metal. Unfortunately I don't remember his name :--( but I do remember he was Irish. The drinks were pretty stiff so my girl and I got pretty drunk but it was well worth the price. Yay cheap drinks!!!!! As for music luckily they had an internet Jukebox so I could find any song I wanted to listen to.
