The vegetable tray and bread basket were good. Our meals came out shortly after we were seated. The salads were nice sized and the blue cheese dressing with crumbles was great. Our entrees (ribeye, tenderloin with chicken, prime rib and fish) were all sized nicely and prepared as ordered. My dining partner said the chicken was some of their all-time favorite. My ribeye was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Our dining partners loved their choices. Overall, I'd really like to give 4.5 stars, but my pals at Yelp still don't trust half stars. The staff was so kind and positive towards me and my family every time we go, the food is always tastes like a home cooked meal, there's not a single complain I could make about this restaurant. I've meet the owner and his daughters who work here and they are such great and down to earth people they make their restaurant have that family environment feeling. My third thought was that looks like a course ground hand formed patty, fresh beef and no frozen hockey pucks here. I kept it simple with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and ketchup. My first bite was like that's not dry at all and the beef has a nice beef flavor. The bun was a perfect bun because it was a softer style and not the dry dense kind but hearty enough not to fall fall apart from all that beef. I didn't even bother asking for rare with the young cooks but it was cooked about medium with some pink left in the middle. The toppings were fresh but the onions were super thin sliced and soft, I would have asked for extra had I have known. I'm impressed that a small drive in takes the burgers seriously and uses top quality ingredients.
