I've had the pleasure of visiting their location three times, and each time I've invested in $50-$60 worth of sandwiches and snacks, always eager to try new items and discover hidden gems. My curiosity got the better of me, and I finally ordered four grilled pork sandwiches, taking a bite of one and, unfortunately, finding it didn't meet my lofty expectations. I envisioned thinly sliced, flavorful pork, similar to what I've experienced at Vietnamese restaurants. Comparatively, other eateries in Garland have served me delectable, thinly sliced grilled pork. Sadly, this particular dish fell short, with chopped, dry pork that resembled chicken. Now, I'm left with three remaining sandwiches, and I'm determined to make the most of it! Tonight, I will try the beef and hope I don't get disappointed. Updated! Beef isn't good as other reviews mentioned.

One of the best places you can get banh mi in this area. Not only that, they offer a combo which comes with chips and drink for only $8.59 before tax and tip. That is a real cheap, fast and delicious meal to have if you are in a crunch. Service is your typical family asian owned tone. It's a small place but can accommodate maybe 15 people at a time. The #5 grilled pork belly is always my go to.

After a nail appointment I was famished and decided to venture into Mr. Banh Mi. The establishment is a small quant venue with only a few tables and chairs so you may want to order to go which is what I chose. I ordered the Grilled pork sandwich which consist of Thit nuong - Popular Vietnamese Pork Roll sandwich filled with ham, pate, steamed pork roll, pickled carrots, and daikon, cucumbers, and cilantro. The bread was fresh soft on the inside and perfectly hard and crispy n the outside. Very flavorful I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches.

BEST BANH MI EVER. My ex who was from Vietnam put me onto this establishment 5 years ago, and always mentioned that the sandwiches are the same as in Vietnam. Even after 5 years...it's still amazing. It's a very small shop so if there's seating, go for it, but most people do take out. I recommend the Grilled Pork, but there's other options such as chicken etc. They also sell fresh shakes there, and an assortment of other beverages made fresh. Service is very quick and attentive, I recommend looking a the menu before going.

Sandwich, soda and chips - $8.50 To start, 2 veggie/vegan options - tofu or mixed veggie with tofu. I opted for the second with no patê and no mayo. Loaded with tofu, black mushrooms, cucumber, carrot, cilantro and jalapeño. Excellent fresh bread. Overall an excellent sandwich and a satisfying lunch. Will be back!

10/10! best priced Banh Mis in DFW! They are fast and efficient and have tables/booths if you need to have a quick lunch in between errands.

Good food, good mood, amazing server. Everything made the experience 5 stars!…read more Kelly was super informative and friendly. She took care of us and made sure we got the good stuff. We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. They also had a lot more workers too. They have the same recipes for the pho and banh mi. But Kelly said the drinks and Bbh were different so we had to get them. It did not disappoint. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender. Usually places don't make it as tender. The cuts were good too. Had some fatty pieces. I like to dip mine in nuoc mam. My son loved the crispy egg rolls. Overall would definitely come back! Everything we got was $57 so not bad.

I would recommend this place for young couples who have kids. They have great kids meal options. No need to share or order the big bowl for them.
