WORST EXPERIENCE / SERVICE EVER !!!
Made me feel anxious, stressed and bullied about the whole process (after the consultation)
I booked a consultation with the "creative director" to discuss what I would like done and what the "creative director" can achieve - my roots were natural and the ends were black, I understood the risk behind stripping the ends as I have done this once before, all I wanted was a full head of dark brown but the "creative director" insisted I go lighter, that it was possible, that she can make it happen, I trusted in her, beleived she could deliver her vision.. little did I know what I was getting into. My hair turned out Red on the ends and a very Light Brown (level 6) at the roots (which would've been fine if it were toned down) not half head of two completely different colors, I looked the same as when I walked in except with half brow half red hair + $300 less in my pocket. It was a NIGHTMARE to deal with, I think the title "creative director" may have caused her head to be in the clouds (as she kept repeating her title to me to make a point) when I went back in the next day to explain that I wasn't happy with the result and would prefer us to take a few steps back and do it the way I had originally planned, I was asked and I quote: " do you want me to show you what your hair looked like before we started (reaching for her phone) stating she is the "creative director" once again ! then stating she would know better then ME what my hair should look like " I stayed calm and professional, explained that I'm really uncomfortable about this whole situation. It gets worse ladies and gentlemen, I was then told I would be charged for the toner ?? Why would you want to charge a client extra for a toner, when you're the reason why the hair is now the ridiculous color that it is... it was your vision, you said you could do it, I asked you repeatedly are you sure?? My hair clearly did not turn out how you explained, now I have to suffer and pay you more!?
When I refused to pay at the counter, I was told to go, to just get out, leave. Still I remained professional, walked out of this salon shaking and more anxious then before.. I felt bullied, intimidated by someone who has such a beautiful title CREATIVE DIRECTOR but does not know how to treat her client with some empathy, understanding and respect. What a disappointment, you work in an industry where you should be making your client feel welcomed and comfortable enough to explain what results they want, not make them feel belittled. Everyone else was lovely, you should learn a thing or two from those who are apprentices at the salon, less experienced but well mannered - not make fun of them to the client when the apprentice has walked away. Thank you for the disgusting service! I'll be sure to let everyone know not to book in with the "creative director" read more
