He uses different marinades and higher quality meat than most of the other kebab shops. We now have these kebabs deleivered weekly. Last week he sent a lamb kofta to try and this was also of the same high quality. The salads and sauces are top class - definitely give this place a try.

As well as various sizes of 'bucket' or meal with fries and chicken in them, they also do things like bbq ribs and onion rings. Great place to go if you've a few people turn up unexpectedly coz you can feed a fair number quite cheaply from here with little fuss. They were also really good a few years back when we had a party and asked if they could do us 50 hot wings to be collected at a specific time and did them for a really good price. (saved me a little cooking and they went out as part of the hot buffet).

The staff are always up for a chat when you go in and collect too but it always gets very busy on weekend nights and i have seen a few fights in there, they could do with some security late at night as its so popular and it also has a nightclub only a few doors done so a fair few drunks come tumbling straight in. They deliver to all of Bedford and the local surrounding villages but it always takes over 40 minutes to be delivered to Kempston but again this is because they are so popular.

We have been doing this for quite a few years and must have tried pretty much every one in the area. We have never really been impressed with any of them until we decided to give this one a try. The only reason we had not done so before is because they don't deliver. We have now been using it for a couple of months and I must say that we have loved it every time. Not once have they got an order wrong or served us substandard food. I have always disliked Chinese restaurants or take-always that use processed chicken as it simply tastes like rubber to me. The Bamboo House use REAL chicken in their sweet and sour balls which makes a massive difference. Everything that is supposed to be crispy is indeed crispy and not chewy slop like many others. Their deep fried chilli beef is to die for! All in all this is a great take-away and I can't see any reason to try any others now (although we have probably gone through them all anyway!). Great food, great service and real meat! Don't change a thing guys as you have nailed it! If the Bamboo House decided to start a delivery service then they would get the full 5 stars!
