You can ring up whenever you want to book an appointment, they are usually quite good at fitting you in. The staff are friendly and have no problems answering your questions. The only problem I find is that there is not an awful lot of parking as it is on a busy main road.

I live in Stockton which is 12 miles away but I make the journey because he is a good dentist. First of all he doesnt hurt you which is most important. He is friendly and cheerful. Dental charges are of course quite expensive but for a check up scale and polish plus a very difficult filling it was £110 which I suppose covers him, his assistant and the fancy aparatus they use. In the 12 years I have had no need to complain and am very satified with the service.

I eventually booked an appointment with Richard as the pain became unbearable. The team at Guidepost have transformed how I feel about going to the Dentist this has taken alot of paitience and understanding from Richard and Holly. Due to the poor state of my teeth I required some "scary" dental procedures but I had nothing to worry about. I have felt no pain and the pre and post aftercare was amazing. I cannot recommend this dental practice enough. In December I get married and I never thought I would be able to smile confidentally on my day. I've always been OK with going to the dentist myself, but their calm demeanour would be very reassuring to those who are not as keen with someone proggling around their gnashers with sharp implements. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, I've never had any troubles in getting an appointment at a convenient time, given they're open from 0800 each morning as well as on Saturdays. So if you're looking for a new dentist in the Hexham area, you can't go wrong with Abbey Dental. Now, rinse and spit, and we'll see you in six months.
