Valina's arsenal of highly educated resources of individuals with such a high level of desire to help others heal, is by far more superior than I've experienced. She has helped me realize trauma is not a blanketed experience, but rather an individual experience, that needs personal evaluation, and attention for proper healing...it's deeper work than I imagined but having Valina by my side trudging through it with me was exactly what I desperately needed. She also has a network of amazing folks around her who truly excel in their own right. She successfully combines textbook psychology with a plethora of holistic and spiritual resources, using innovative solutions (which have all proven successful for us.) It's rather easy for folks to get their feelings hurt in marriage counseling, but Velina speaks with such tact, insight and consideration. She doesn't play favorites and any criticism is purely constructive with positive big-picture intent. Velina is also a skilled masseuse, a genuinely wonderful human being and she truly looks for the best in everyone. Whether it's stress, PTSD, marriage counseling, life coaching, couples massage, etc. Velina is essentially a one-stop shop for your physical and spiritual well being. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I can't express enough gratitude for Dana's coaching. Over the past year, she has changed my life…read more I came to her with crippling anxiety, an eating disorder, and struggles with perfectionism and depression. As insanely nervous as I was at our first session, her compassionate approach immediately put me at ease. Dana is very warm and approachable, making it easy to open up! Dana took the time to understand how I think, helping me gain awareness of my feelings and providing me with numerous techniques to counter negative and intrusive thoughts. When something wasn't working for me, she offered new approaches and worked to understand my viewpoint. I now have a toolkit of strategies to manage my mental health more effectively. If you're looking for a therapist who genuinely cares and can make a real difference in your life, I highly recommend Dana. She is a true professional and a beacon of hope for what I thought would never be possible.

I had a lot of anxiety at that time as well, and I really feel that with working with her helped me get through it. I've been going to her ever since, and though my recent move makes that more difficult, I've been continuing to reach out for guidance, advice, and to talk things through when I'm having trouble navigating something. Dana is incredibly kind, understanding, and empathetic and generally a wonderful person, but she has an incredible way of connecting to work through things in a way that feels natural and right to you. In every difficult situation I've gone to her through, she has always helped me lead the way in figuring out what feels best for me in my life. There was a point where I had difficulties in my relationships with my dad, and she suggested a joint session, and my dad still, two years later, talks about how wonderful she was. I'm certain that she connects just as well with everyone she works with, all manner of different people, because it's just who she is and how good at her job she is. If you're looking for coaching that's more self-guided so you can develop effective tools, goals, and strategies through difficult situations, or even just advice and support through your every day life, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dana. She's worked with me through different moves, schools, relationships, friendships, and I feel like I've come through it all a much more confident person, better able to navigate it all.

I was battling with a 'sense of failure' as a father/husband/person due to what I thought was from financial pressures and a lack of empathy, accountability with my was breaking down my relationship with my wife. His counseling experience and deep knowledge of behavioral therapy identified a possible 'Complex Relational trauma response' disorder that my wife showed signs of displaying. Justin helped me understand her trauma response and how I was reacting to her issues with my own issues which triggered her fear, abandoment, frustration, mistrust, and gravitation to conflict which induced my own defensiveness reactions and anger. He provided me with my own personal tools to deploy on a regular basis. These helped me be nice to myself and appreciate my purpose and that I was actually doing my best to improve myself and provide love most importantly. Some of those solutions and tools such as meditation, mindfulness, self awareness/development created personal behavioral changes and coping strategies I now feel better about myself . A relationship tools I really liked was his own self developed 'Oh-Five-X Repair Framework' ( a one page document) which has provided us ability to create a safe place for trust, healing, and recovering from past trauma and experiences in our relationship and personal pasts. I've developed a deeper understanding and awareness of myself and Justin's actionable tools and strategies are much more than what most other life coaches or counselors can deliver. Its his ability to land these strategies/tools on point and get you to understand how to employ them to get better/improve/develop yourself With this guidance I've noticed I've become more empathetic, less reative and more self caring so my family can continue to heal, and our relationship and welfare of ourselves beniftis our family. I was in counseling with someone else when my father passed away. The sessions--which were missing…read morethe mark to begin with--became even more painful, and eventually I left. I knew I needed a different conversation and began searching online for someone new. I found three possibilities. After speaking with each of them, I chose Justin. I am forever grateful that I did. Justin was exactly what I needed: a skilled and compassionate listener, someone with deep experience and literacy in the grief space, someone who truly understands how cataclysmic a significant loss can feel. In particular, I appreciated Justin's use of various frameworks that helped validate and contain many of the difficult thoughts and feelings I was experiencing. Just as importantly, he saw and honored me as a complicated person with many different parts. He encouraged me to recognize those parts myself and to approach them with curiosity and respect. Justin also takes a humble bow to the unknown--to death, and to the depths of sorrow that can accompany profound loss. His presence during some of the most devastating moments I shared with him was a gift. Around seventeen months after my father died, I began to feel different. More integrated. A little stronger. Better able to look back and see just how broken open I had been, and how much I had changed. As filmmaker Ken Burns has said, the half-life of grief is infinite. I still feel it. But I cannot deny that I have learned a great deal, that I have grown around my grief, and that I continue to do so. The grief remains, but it has softened. Could I have muddled through on my own? Perhaps. But how fortunate I was to have Justin alongside me for this part of my journey. Although our work together was largely focused on the death of my father, we touched on many other aspects of life as well. My sense is that if I had come to Justin during a completely different chapter of my life, he would have been just as helpful. If you are considering working with Justin, I would not hesitate. Just do it.

Amy helped me turn my life around!…read more I was originally very apprehensive about the idea to seek help in a life coach, but this year I realized that at the age of 30, if I'm not happy with where I'm at, then I must be doing it wrong. I knew that I shouldn't feel like I should spend most of my days without passion, happiness, and energy on a daily basis. I felt like a was going in the wrong direction with my career, and really had no plan of how I could get out of the rut I was in. My first session with Amy was so valuable, that if I never had another, I believe that it would have still changed my life. Amy didn't tell me what to do, but instead helped me identify what I really wanted to do with my life, what was stopping me, and what to focus on to be happier. She helped me focus my disorganized thoughts and ideas into a cohesive and actionable plan that I could take step by step. Nine months later I've never been in a better place in both my professional and personal life, and the best thing about it is that I know that I had it in me to do it with her help.

After each session, Brandy's always there to help or serve when I text or email her with something I'm having trouble with. Initially, I went in for her to uncover my blind spots, and even though she didn't say, "Josh, X, Y, Z are your blind spots," after each session, I'm always amazed at what I haven't been able to see myself. That being said, she's definitely given me what I was looking for, but more importantly, she's transformed my emotional, mental, and spiritual life. One thing to remember, though, is coaching is really a two-way street. At the end of the day, YOU have to put in the work and effort to further your own growth. If you don't care about your own growth, it doesn't matter how great your coach is... you will never grow. Brandy's job is to be the guiding light for your life, but it's you who still have to walk the path at the end of the day. That being said, Brandy will do whatever it takes to serve you, and it's something I always take comfort in whenever I go in to see her.
