We contracted with Mr. D's for the removal of a double trunk river birch that had been planted too close to the house. The crew arrived on time. Out of curiosity, I watched as they worked. These guys knew what they were doing. Before each cut was made, they stood back as a group discussing how best to rig the ropes. From their motions and body language, it was apparent that each team members input was accepted with equal importance. A true team effort. Each section they cut was carefully lowered to the ground by the use of ropes. No divots in the grass or damage to asphalt. After grinding the stump, they did a great job of cleanup. I live in Surfside Beach, SC ... I contacted Mr. D's for a quote on trimming some trees and grinding a few stumps ... He came and gave me an estimate that I thought was fair and had his office contact me about a time frame for completing the work ... The crew showed up on time, did exactly what I had asked for, and cleaned up afterwards very thoroughly ... I was very pleased with their efforts, the communication and follow-through was excellent, and the pricing very fair and competitive ... I highly recommend this company and will use them again ... Scheduled to have a very difficult vined tree removed from the back of our lot in Myrtle Beach. The tree sat right on the fence line about 8 ft from a vinyl fence on one side and several smaller trees in our neighbors yard. Mr. Dennis took the time to consult with my neighbor as the tree had to be dropped in his yard. The crew worked carefully throughout the entire process. Cleaned every inch of both yards with NO damage to either property. This was a split truck cherry tree that was completely twined with Poison Oak and Trumpet Vine. Called Mr. D.'s, got a friendly live woman on the phone, response was quick, meeting the estimator, to the guys showing up to do the job. Fast, efficient and courteous. Hard to come by these days. Mr. D's absolutely great!!! Matt coordinated and cut down a 60'+ dead oak tree. Everything was completed in an organized manner. The Bobcat driver was amazing. All personnel on the job worked diligently in their parts of the job. Everything was cut, stacked, and cleaned up in approximately 2.5 hours. this company is the best. someone came to give us an estimate the day following our request. once we agreed on the price they were here with a full crew the following Tuesday. The crew dropped two huge pine trees that were near the power lines and home with no issues. Trimmed back other trees and cleaned up overgrown shrubs. All stumps grinded down and yard left nice and clean. Highly recommend them. read more
