The renovations are nice, and I do like that when you arrive for take out or dining-in they bring out a tray of these little white rice snacks. There was a couple dining-in and the food they were served looked well presented, so I had high hopes for my takeout food. Unfortunately, it was the same sh*t they use to serve, same bad taste, same expensive prices to pay for garbage. I tried the Duck for my first experience, but it came in a white container with tons of grease...definitely was not appetizing. The second time, I tried the sweet and sour pork with extra spicy sauce. The sweet and sour sauce was literally congealed which made the pork soggy and soft...it was like a messy goop in my mouth...yuck. I've tried some of the side items as well, the egg rolls are pretty big, not a traditional egg roll, but it's semi-decent aside from all the grease. My husband likes this place for the chicken fried rice, but in my opinion it's the driest unseasoned fried rice I've ever tasted. I can almost guarantee you the only reason people keep coming back is because it's the closest thing to Chinese food in Baumholder vicinity. Honestly, Manchu Wok is way better than this place...and that's saying a lot.

China Restaurant Hong Kong - Koblenz…read more A touch of China in Koblenz If you like Chinese's food, based on taste, price and atmosphere this is another well kept secret in Koblenz. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and great location! I visited this restaurant at the end of April 2015 on a Thursday evening, after making a reservation for two on that same Thursday afternoon. When I first called for a reservation, they hung up on me! However the second time I called, they were friendly and took my information. We arrived before 19:30, our reservation time and our table was waiting for us, as promised. In fact, the waiter recognized my voice from my telephone call. The Menu consists of a variety of Chinese dishes. The Menu is very easy to read and understand. Plus, salads and vegetarian meals are also available. Prices are average, fair, and the portions are good. Before our food was served the waiter brought a small hot plate to keep our plates hot. Both food dishes came, hot as required and within a timely manner. Empty plates were collected, when appropriate and at that time we were nicely asked if everything was OK. I had rice with chicken and vegetables and my partner had duck with fried chicken and white rice. I tasted both dishes and I can happily recommend both meals as delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant nicely decorated, in a Chinese ambient but is not over done. As one enters the establishment there is a water fountain with live gold fish. The tables are nicely decorated with a candle, table cloth and paper napkins (which I prefer) that match the table cloth. The restaurant is roomy and well organized concerning space. I noticed that the restaurant has two large closets with plenty of space to hang coats, jacket or hats and where one can see their coat, jacket or hat from almost anywhere in the restaurant. It would be a great place for a special occasion. One can either sit outside (now that we have good weather), inside in the front of the restaurant and look out through the window, or farther inside. The outside the eating area is on the sidewalk not partitioned from the sidewalk but covered. From Inside through the windows there is a nice view of the outside trees and plants. After we paid, we were given two plum wines as a parting drink. We were also friendly wished a pleasant day, as we left the restaurant. The Internet page is on Google and is very well organized and informative but it is only in German. On-line Menu can be found at http://www.speisekarte.de. Negatives are: 1) while parking is available on the street, one has to pay to park. So if you want to have the privilege to eat at this restaurant, you have to pay to park and pay to eat. 2) Internet Page is only in German. My partner said that without our coupon book she would have never stopped here to eat and now that she knows the restaurant exists, she wants to come back. She just loved the food. Overall this restaurant receives my best recommendation and we will both be back to enjoy another meal.

I was a bit skeptical to go for sushi here since I'm from Miami, FL, but was assured I would not be disappointed. I loved that I was able to walk here from my hotel, SAKS. The space was cozy and had tables to dine inside. The server was very friendly and helpful. We started with Spring Rolls and Edamame. Both were just what I was hoping for. We each got a tuna roll and I loved the Crunchy Salmon Roll. The fish was fresh and honestly so much better than I expected. I'm so glad I now have a new place to come eat when I visit.
