I've been to the Delmar location several times and always had a good experience. I decided to try the new location to get some glass pieces after receiving an email announcing the opening of this location. The woman who was working the counter was helpful and courteous. After I picked out the two pieces I came for she told me that glass is buy 2 get 1 free so I picked up a third piece. She carefully wrapped my purchases and was friendly. All-in-all I got a large bong, a small bong, and a large pipe for about $100. The prices are great no matter what price is in your range and they have all the things you would expect to find at a quality head shop. read more

Everyone is always super helpful at this location of Mr. Nice Guys. A few weeks ago, I went in desperate after I had two batteries break down from another company and both of the staff were incredibly helpful at helping me find a replacement. They were also both just very friendly and kind. I'm completely blanking on one of their names but the other person was named Gray. Both people were great! And I'm glad to find that they carry Delta8 products! The only reason that I didn't give this location 5 stars is because there's no designated disability parking. And the regular parking is very difficult for those of us with disabilities because it's at the bottom of a steep hill. If this could be remedied, I would change my rating to 5 stars. read more

It appears to be a little smaller selection (possibly due to COVID?) but I was able to find everything I needed, use my points with ease, and be on my way. I've been a customer for years!! I absolutely loved the staff, very friendly and knowledgeable BUT.... I bought a very expensive torch from them which broke the next day. Tried to exchange and they have a no return policy that won't even allow them to make things right. I mean less than 24 hrs later I'm back at the store and they can't help me. Now I have a $59.99 lighter that doesn't work. They're way too expensive not to be able to take back defective items for exchange, it's best to go there to see what you want then order that item online. I have heard a lot about this place and since it just moved over to Olive I thought I'd check it out. I was looking for a gift for my husbands birthday. First of all the parking is a little sketchy, you have to park in the back down a steep hill and there were a couple of guys back there looking sketchy. Anyway, I wanted to just run in real quick and I had my 2 year old (who I was holding) as soon as I open the door a guy behind the counter just says "No." I looked strange I'm sure because I'm not sure if he's talking to me. Then he proceeds to tell me "you can't bring a baby in here" he was really rude about it and I never saw a sign stating this. If he would have been nice about the situation I would consider going back, but I just went to Sunshine Daydream on the Loop and they were awesome and was really cool with my boy too! read more

Went in today to pick up some kratom and got to chatting with Matt. He was very informative and educated me on some alternatives once I can no longer get kratom, like CBD. Mr. Nice Guy does customer service right! Came in to buy a slide, opted for no receipt at register. Got home and found slide was too big so I called back to see if there was any way they could arrange a return. Employee says they aren't typically supposed to do returns on that item but that he'd call his manager to see if there was anything he could do. Called me back two minutes later. Manager said not only could I come back any time that night or the day after and exchange the item for one that was the correct size, but if they didn't have one in stock, that I could take a new slide from a piece of glassware. So freaking nice -- dude has to order a new slide for that glassware! Long story short, Mikey and Cameron are great and you should give them a raise! MNG came through for me tonight! read more

I went in to purchase a quarts straw. i was directed to a product (dragon chaser) which was marked half off. Great deal i thought. It melted immediately when used with a torch, it was not quartz. I went in to speak with the employees and was advised no returns. employee got very snotty when i advised i would just rate them based on their products they sold, He then said he would talk to his manager but i was frustrated from his attitude and left. Just spent a hundred dollars on a hookah set up. I bought an extra hose thinking it would include the rubber attachment needed to securely fit into the base. It did not, so I drove up there to ask for one and they didn't sell them at that store... why would you sell me something that is not going to work? They wouldn't let me return the hose (which has never been used) because I didn't pay with "cash". So not only are the employees incompetent but they scam you too.
