Food was fresh and the service was excellent. The ambiance of this place is cool each table has its own stove to cook the food right in front of your eyes.

Back in the days if you wanted to eat decent Korean BBQ in Philly you had to go to 5th street. Most of the Korean BBQ along 5th street remind me of old style, but Mr. Pig definitely incorporates the newer style. The place is spacious, they grill your meat in front of you and cut up the meat for you. The flavour of the meat was very good. Service was pretty good; wish they had a little more varieties with banchan and gave us more lettuces (you pay once for lettuces and you can ask for refills, but the servers seem very busy it gets difficult to ask them). Overall, we had a very nice time.

I went to here for Christmas Eve for dinner with friends. I was visited Philly for seeing my old friends. We were so hungry late night and looking for the Korean bbq place near downtown where I stay at hotels. Clean and very modern interior. It was almost 10pm but still a lot of person insides. All staffs we're accommodating But food was ok to me. If you looking for late night Korean bbq place near downtown, try this place but maybe I can come back to this place if I visit Philly again then stay downtown hotel and hungry at late night or wanna some eat Korean bbq.

Came here with a group of six and they were honestly so nice about it. We showed up later than we planned and they still stayed open for us, which I really appreciated. Right when we walked in, we were greeted right away and the service stayed solid the whole time. Everyone was friendly, checked on us often, and made sure we had what we needed without making us feel rushed. The food was also really good. The meats were fresh and flavorful, the sides were on point, and everything came out pretty quick. We got the large party (4) meat combo, tteokbokki, kimchi stew, and cold noodles. Overall it was a really good experience and I would definitely come back. Highly recommend if you are going with a bigger group and want good service and good food.

Korean BBQ in Chinatown! Order your meat, and they grill and cut up your meat for you. Orders also come with corn cheese and egg. The meat is nicely marinated, and definitely better quality than the AYCE places. The only con is the portion size - we ordered a 4 person meat combo set for our 4 adults, 3 of whom eat way less than the average person, and yet we still needed to order more meat and sides.

Just plain disappointment. They charge us $3x for beef tongue and there isn't a lot of meat. Banchan options are limited and not that good. Dipping sauces are also not good (hơi hăng). They charge $3 for lettuce..

We got the favorites combo, seafood pancake, and tofu soup and split between 7 of us. We enjoyed the meat and the service! The total came out to be about $31 per person and we were all pretty full. They do birthday celebrations also and give ice cream.

We have been to many Korean BBQ locations, mostly in Philly & NYC areas. Have to say this is one of the best experiences we've had in quite some time. Ordered steamed dumpling and kimchi stew for appetizers, both were very good, the stew was not too sour and had plenty of tofu. The steamed dumplings were good, and the dipping sauce was excellent. We ordered several different dumplings individual beef BBQ options in using Galbi, Bulgogi and Ribeye. They cooked the ribeye first, then the Bulgogi & then Galbi on a separate table, while we enjoyed all the free sides, including potato salad, fish cake, kimchi & cucumbers, which all were excellent. All the BBQ was tasty, and higher quality meats. Not one item was poor quality. The bean sprouts, cheese/corn, white rice and steamed egg were included with the BBQ orders. Everything was very well done. Great vibe, and good service, and not super expensive and plenty of alcohol choices make this a must return!

This has been my boyfriend and I's favorite place to get KBBQ in the area. We've been here a handful of times so far and have always had a great experience. Food is a la carte, cooked for you, you get steamed egg, cheese corn and sides with your food, and the food is delicious!! I really love the soft tofu soup as well. We've had one of the servers, Amy, a few times and she is amazing! Super attentive and friendly. We love this place

My husband and I love Korean bbq. So when I saw that this place has good ratings, we decided to give it a try. It is conveniently located near Chinatown, bus stop, and 676. Spacious, sleek, high industrial ceiling, and clean. Bright light at each table. In the wall near the cashier, there are paintings of of men in traditional Korean clothing. On the other side of the wall there are two televisions. One is showing a music video ok K-pop with no sound. Hip hop music is playing but not too loud. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who directed us to the table. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, and engaging. He offered refills for our side dishes a couple of times. He explained that the restaurant has been opened for 9 months. Weekend can be busy. We ordered bulgogi and spicy pork belly to be cooked on the barbecue plate. They also have menu items that are cooked in the kitchen. Our orders come with refillable side dishes served on small plates: fish cakes, kimchi, fermented beans spread, rice, a mini dollop of mashed potato and corn, and cabbage. We also get a bowl of salad to be shared. The barbecue plate is slanted with three sections at the rim for more side dishes: cheese and corn, bean sprouts, and steamed egg made fresh as our waiter poured the liquid egg into the compartment. I've never seen such design. It allows the grease flows down. First, raw onion and beech mushrooms are put on the grill plate then they are mixed with bulgogi. The meat is ready in a short time and not burnt. My favorite side dish is the cheese and corn. As the plate gets hotter, the cheese is melting so you can see cheese pull. So yummy. The exhaust system is well designed. Our clothes don't smell like barbecue at all. It was a fun dining experience for us. There's a sign that says if you bring the receipt from Me. Pig to Hey Yogurt, you can get 20 percent off.

First time trying here and i definitely is was worth the money! The bill came out $160 including tips and taxes. For four people i definitely say it was worth it, we came out really full. Korean BBQ known for expensive especially with many peoples. Must have to say is really good and affordable too! We order beer, cheese tteobokki, spicy cold noodles, kimchi fried rice and a regular combo. They gave us side dishes banchan including: mashed potato, fish cake, kimchi, salad, seaweed salad and salad. Meat is good nothing much to say but as for kincgi fried rice i would say make it bit seasong flavor wbem we tried it was bland other than that nothing else to add on. Staff were veey nice and friendly. Ambience were giving korean atmosphere. They placyed kpop music. I enjoyed the experience cant wait to go back sgain.

What amazes me every time I visit a different Korean BBQ are the various approaches to grilling meat. While some tables are used to cook over an open flame, most of the meat is cooked over a transportable griddle which simultaneously cooks additional side dishes like cheesy corn and eggs. The meat consists of some quality cuts and had more options than traditional beef and pork, including chicken, shrimp and even octopus. Everything was tasty, although I do wish the bulgogi has a bit more flavor. However, that being said- the service is very attentive and they make you feel right at home even though you're surrounded by sleek, modern surroundings. It's a great place for groups, families or even a date. Definitely recommend!

Because we were a large party we shared a bunch of the family style trays which ended up being perfect. I really liked the location and ambiance of Fette Sau. The chicken was outstanding--moist, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the ribs. They were huge, tender, and very tasty. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments, which is why Fette Sau only earns 3 stars from us. When it comes to brisket, I'm not accustomed to BBQ restaurants serving almost exclusively the point cut or fat cap. We ordered a pound of brisket and could only eat about a quarter of it because it was simply too fatty for our taste. We strongly prefer the flat cut, which can still be incredibly moist and flavorful when prepared well. A combination of both cuts would have been fine, but receiving mostly fat was a major letdown. The large mac and cheese side easily fed the three of us, but it was very dry and lacked flavor. The cornbread muffin was similarly disappointing--dry and bland. I'm glad we took the time to visit because the atmosphere, chicken, and ribs were enjoyable, but given the brisket and sides, I don't see us returning.

I can't go often, since it's not that close to me, but when I go, I typically order the rib platter. I typically get the same sides (beans and mac n cheese) along with cornbread. It is certainly more deserving than my initial 3 star review on my successive visits, but I never updated my review. Not everyone will love the sauce, which tastes more tomato-based, but that's okay. As I've gotten older, I appreciate it more. It's almost like... they put... ketchup... in the sauce... and if that's what it is, I'm fine with it. It tastes good. The ribs on that initial visit were tough; that's not a lie. On three visits afterwards, it was not as tough as the first time. On my most recent visit today, the ribs were really, really tender. Like... this is how tender ribs should be. The only difference between my experiences before versus now is I placed a takeout order this time whereas I always ate at the restaurant before. If takeout will always yield the freshest, most tender ribs, I'm good with ordering takeout from now on. The ribs were tender to the point of being delicate. They were SO GOOD. Even the rib that looked like it could've been tough was tender. That's how you know ribs are good. I would give 5 stars for just the ribs alone, but aha... there were more items... baked beans... SO GOOD... they have sausage bits in them. Cornbread... baked fresh and cut in front of my eyes... WARM, SOFT, FLUFFY.... SOoo GOOOOD... the mac n cheese... well, ehhh... can't win them all... it was just mac n cheese. I have to remember to order something other than mac n cheese next time, but I always forget because I don't go here often enough. Still, this is a 5 star meal all the way and I look forward to more meals like this. I thought I had to drive over to Camden all this time to get tender ribs. Let's say that all again... the ribs are damn good... tender and juicy. Yums. Go get some. Parking lot on the premises. Hope you get the same experience I just did.
