After doing research on my upcoming trip to Krakow, I was disappointed to see how long it would take to get to city center via train or local bus and given that I had acquired another piece of luggage, there was no way I would be lugging that across various platforms. Never mind the cobblestones lining the entire stretch of Old Town. Taxis are also apparently not regulated so even though I had a good idea of the current exchange of the PLN, I didn't want to deal with that on top of haggling. My first Google search brought me to this shuttle service and after reading good reviews via Expedia, booked the round trip via their site. For the entire trip, from KRK to old town and back, my total in USD was only $44 so PLN 164. When I arrived, our driver had a sign out waiting with my name on it. Our trip to the hotel was quick and efficient and he delivered me right close to the hotel. Pick-up was also efficient and timely. Driver assisted with my bags and we were at the airport in 20 minutes. The fleet/shuttles are modern, newer, and provide a smooth ride. I also noted that with the amount of traffic going to/from old town, these drivers were well experienced. I have to also mention cute ;) If I could rate their service with 10 stars, I would. Please remember to tip the drivers well. I noticed a lot of American/Asian tourists were not heavy into tipping but for a country where the exchange rate is lower and a lot of workforce here are labor driven, acknowledging their service is just another way to express appreciation. When we decide to spend our holidays in Krakow and arranged the flights and accommodation we were looking for the airport transfer. As always we put the keyword in Google and that was our first contact with that company. We saw that that the prices were very reliable and after reading the Client's feedback we were sure that it will be a good choice to book the airport transfers with them. When our flight arrives we meet at the arrival hall the smart guy waiting with board with our names on it. He help us taking our luggage and take us to the car. The way to our hotel was perfect, all the time he was talking about the city, the people living here, the culture. It was our first time in Poland so that's why it was so important for us. When he drop us off at the hotel he gave us the leaflets. After checking in the hotel we take once again the leaflets to our hands trying to arrange the next day. We found there the Auschwitz and Salt Mine One Day Tour and we decide to book it. The tour was perfect! Starting from being on time, the another very nice driver and the guides also in Auschwitz and then in Salt Mine. In the comfortable car we have opportunity to watch the Auschwitz Documentary movie which was interesting and helps introduce us to the place. On the return way the driver told us that our return transfer will be free of charge, because we order two airport transfers and that tour;) It was very nice surprise, their service was excellent! read more
