Every time I order from Mr. Takeout, my family has had nothing but praise. Simple good food.

I was turned on to Mr. Takeout by a buddy, and it might be some of the best advice I've ever received. The wings are some of the best I've had, and high quality too, meaty good sized wings... Perfect. I've tried a number of the sauces and all are delicious. As for the pizza, it's good, not great, and the other subs and apps are solid options, based on the several I've tried. I literally dream about the pizza from Mr. Takeout. I know that's a little much to say, but I live in Boston around the corner from some of the best pizza places of all time, and I still find myself wanting Mr. Takeout! My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place during rush hour traffic on a way to a wedding. We were so hungry and decided to take any exit off the highway. We found this place because of the high Yelp ratings. Now, I'll be honest- we called in our order and talked to a super nice guy on the phone, but when we showed up at the address, we considered turning around. There is no parking and the place is relatively small, so very easy to drive by. There is a glowing lottery sign in the window, so you can't see in, but don't let this stop you from ordering! The food is outstanding! We even went back a few weeks later with some friends and noticed that there is a nice picnic table across the street. There is zero seating in the place, but I thought it was really nice that they had a picnic table nearby! read more

Eat here every week without fail. Their menu is huge! I highly recommend steak subs, buffalo chicken sub, the wings, salads, and calzones. The only menu item that's unimpressive is their pizza. What isn't there to like about this place? Everything from the food to the service is beyond outstanding! The owner is a great guy! He cares about his customers and the quality of service he provides which is evident in the quality of his food. The one thing I love about this place is how many different flavors they have for wings. Not to mention how delicious the wings are! They are cooked perfectly! Ordered cheese pizza, barbeque chicjen wings, and salad. Pizza was nice. Similar flavor to Bertucci"s. Crust was crisp and chewy. Sauce was nice. Wings were great. Crispy and sauced just right. Salad was typical generic salad but fresh. We will be back! read more

Been using them since they (finally) reopened. Although my kids were a bit disappointed they no longer have candy in the store, we've probably ordered takeout 10+ times. Previously I knew they had some subs and things, but I assumed it was just for the local Brickstone employees on lunch hour. Great service, great salads, fast delivery. Everything we've ordered has been surprisingly good with huge portions. Their pizza is unique in Andover. I love it, especially the garlic seasoned crust. However their sauce is quite sweet and my family doesn't care for it. I don't get the comparison to Bertucci's pizza, it tastes nothing like it at all. I do agree that their garden salad is boring but have been really happy with their chicken, cobb, ceaser and buffalo tender salads. Since each one is made to order, it's very easy to customize your salad to your like (which they encourage on their menu). And everything was nice and fresh. The pulled buffalo chicken sandwich is great too and unique. It's a bit on the spicy side just the way I like it. Besides the food, the thing I like about this place is the service. I know it's family run, but they clearly emphasize friendly service. Even most of the delivery guys are friendlier than most. I actually joined Yelp just to write a review for Mr. Takeout. read more

Just tried this place for the 1st time and it was excellent! The owner was very friendly and the food was fresh and cooked to order. The wings were delicious - highly recommend the garlic parmesan and buffalo. The greek salad and waffle fries were great as well. Small place but always get good food at a good price. Wings are delicious. I recommend the Garlic Parm. I also really enjoy the salad when you add crispy chicken. They chop up the chicken and wrap it in foil to keep it separate from the salad until you are ready to eat. It is the little things that set restaurants apart from their competition. The staff is friendly and the owner emphasizes the customer service aspect which always seems lacking these days. Good food, good prices and friendly staff. Between work functions and being at home lazy, I've tasted a few different selections from the Mr. Takeout menu. Always a friendly experience with the cashiers and delivery guys. Met the owner too. Real down the earth guy and when it gets busy, he is right on the front lines taking/making orders with everyone else. Huge selection of pizzas. I haven't tried the subs yet, but the wings! Let's not get me started on the wings. If it were a healthy option is probably have them daily! read more

They are always friendly and nice when i call to order. Their subs are great and salads are very fresh. The only complaint i have is they take such a long time to deliver. I work in a company of 250+ so i don't know if someone else is going to order from there as well. So i can call in an order and then someone else calls in 30 mins later and my order sits and waits until theirs is done and they both get delivered together. Food has been cold last three times so although i love their food i will not be ordering from Mr. Takeout anymore. read more

Mac bites are good. Subs are good and cheep. Get a lg sub instead of a sm because its just a little bit more. Garlic crust on pizza is either a love or hate is a hate for me. Calzones are good. I suggest getting sauce on the side for calzone because they put a lot in it if not on the side and it gets really soggy by the time you eat it. Parking is tough, but tolerable. Like said in the name its for take out, but they deliver too and are usually fast for delivery (it always takes less time than they actually say). read more

Mr. Takeout has surpassed my expectations. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. On one occasion I ordered the pulled buffalo chicken sandwich without blue cheese. It came with the cheese so I had a friend order again and we swapped sandwiches. The next time I went in I ordered the same. Howie remembered the previous occasion, knowing he must have sent out the order incorrectly and gave me the sandwich for free! Ordered a Chicken Parmesan calzone. very good, very well made. Owner was very personal and sociable, he wanted to build a good relationship with the neighboring towns. Stopped and got a sub acouple weeks ago. It was good, no complaints. The other night we ordered and had it delivered. It said on the menu there was a $10 min. and no where did it say a delivery charge. We meet the $10 min. but where still charged a $2 fee. Not happy about that. Food is good though. read more

it was friendly but took so long and had to wait ...even though I was only person waiting there...they were wrapping up all phone orders...even though these finished orders were sitting there for all the time I was there (about 30 min)finally when my patience was over and I asked about my order then they started making it...I did not expect this....they should give some preference if someone is waiting in front of you so long...other than that taste was good and they took care nicely what ingredients you want. read more
