Avoid this place. Christina did our taxes. They were delivered to her on a Thursday, she said they would be done the next Tuesday. So far, so good, looked like it would be a quick turn around. Checked Tuesday and they were not finished. Asked for Christina to call, she never did. We Left 7 messages for Christina to call over the next two weeks. She NEVER RETURNED ONE CALL. Friday, a week and a half after they were promised, I was on my way to the office to fire them, when my wife called to tell them I was coming to pick up our paperwork and suddenly, they said the taxes would be finished first thing Monday morning. I did pick them up Monday morning, 9 business days, almost two weeks after they were supposed to be finished. I guess I'm still waiting for Christina to return any of my calls. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. I reviewed the business on their facebook page and they were able to get the review deleted. Guess they weren't interested in how their customer service is, just that the reviews make them look good. Good luck Mr Tax. In response to your offer for free service. That won't happen. You have a sub-par employee and you know it. You even told me once on the phone, All I can do is give her the message. SO you know Christina doesn't do her job. I would like to write an honest review. When we lived in Gulf Breeze, we came to Carla at Mr. Tax and were blown away by the quality of her job. By far, she is the most knowledgeable, experienced, inexpensive tax accountant we have ever come across at all times, even though I always felt intimidated by their office. But. Once we moved out of the county, the communication became a huge problem for me. For example, your emails do not get answered for weeks or at all. Your calls are not returned. Our tax refund was sent to the IRS before we even had a chance to look at it, and therefore it contained a few mistakes (though not crucial), like a job was put in incorrectly, and the amount charged for tax services was a bit different than charged. I really wanted and had the right to check the tax refund before submitting it to at least know how much we owed the IRS. It later caused the problem with the IRS correctly applying the tax money to our account because we never has a chance to pay at the moment of submission of the return. And then, we had a problem getting a copy of our return to even be sent to US, having to ask repeatedly for it. It's like we weren't valued at all as customers. To their credit, I think they are incredibly busy and stretched far too thin during the tax season. I also believe that non-locals probably should look elsewhere for tax services to save them a lot of frustration. No matter how good and knowledgeable the accountant is, I am done chasing her. read more
