I have been a customer of the Goodyear store on Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs for over 20 years, and the main reason is because of the manager, Michael Rattansingh. He is the most honest and helpful car service person I have met in 50 years. I and my family have developed a trusting relationship with Michael and his Goodyear store staff based on proven integrity, an absolutely service-oriented staff, and years of service for which I am very satisfied and grateful. This past Saturday, we needed urgent attention to a broken latch on my daughters' car. Michael and his staff called all the dealership stores for the necessary parts. They drove 45 minutes each way to retrieve the parts, and they repaired it within 3 hours for 1/2 the price a dealership quoted, which the dealership said they could not even repair for 3 days. I only called a dealership to show my daughter the kind of service we receive from Michael at a very reasonable price. Oh yes, and Michael discovered another issue with the car that needed immediate attention and has surely saved us several thousand dollars had it not been addressed. This has now happened twice-Despite my appt time first thing in the morning I waited over 3.5 hours for my oil change even though my quoted time was 45 minutes. Later I realized the estimated mileage they wrote on my sticker for my next full synthetic oil change looked off-when I called back to see what my mileage was they had no record. All I got was "yeah sorry". I paid for full synthetic and most likely got the cheap stuff based on my sticker mileage. They did put wiper fluid in my car so I gave them 2 stars for that. My recommendation is to pay the extra $5 and go across the street to Express where they are pleasant and FAST. Sorry guys. I gave you 2 chances. This customer won't be back. read more

I was out and about on Saturday and noticed my air pressure sensor kept coming on for 3 straight days. Sure sign of a nail in the tire. I checked and had a big fat nail in the middle of my back right Tire. There are plenty of options when it comes to tire repairs in Sandy Springs, but when a place has 4 stars on Yelp, it's hard to say no. This location sits across from the Trader Joe's parking lot, near the Wells Fargo on Roswell Rd. It's easy to miss. I rolled in and they weren't insanely busy (maybe 2-3 people ahead of me). They were practicing safety measures and had a large plastic shield up. I was greeted promptly and let them know I needed a patch job done. I was advised that if the nail was anywhere away from the middle of the tire that I might need a new tire. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. The waiting area has a couch, tv, water station and coffee station. Couch wasn't the cleanest I've seen but that was the only issue I ran into. They had my car in and out in less than 35 minutes (could've been longer but it didn't seem long). No high pressure sales tactics, just got the job done. Cost was only $26. For a tire repair, I certainly recommend! Hopefully I won't need to be back though. read more

They broke my front hub cap, took the one from the back, put it on the front driver side so I wouldn't notice the missing hub cap on the back passenger side. I know it was the one from the back because my driver side hub cap had a crack and it was dirtier than the one he took from the back. The two on the back looked brand new. The thing is, if he would have just told me it broke, I would have been fine with that because it was already cracked! But they tried to lie and tell me the back one fell off while I was driving. Complete bull because I know what my hub caps look like!! Now I don't trust that they even did my oil change. Do not go here. No integrity. Can't trust them. read more

Early Saturday morning, February 22, 2025, I discovered a problem with a tire. I called the Mr. Tire call center, which scheduled me an appointment at 9:30 AM. Minutes later the store manager, Mike, called to ask about the nature of my problem, as he was quite booked that day. I explained the problem and he encouraged me to come in. Mike and his team were great. They squeezed me in, finished the work promptly and expertly, and confirmed the work was covered by the tires' warranty. I was not updated on what was taking so long until I finally asked at the 2 hour mark and was told they were "waiting on the filter to be delivered." I read all the good reviews about this place and also was recommended to come here by a friend. I scheduled an appointment online for 1:30 and arrived right on time. When I walked in, I was spoken to immediately and was asked what I was in for. I told the guy flat out that I was looking to purchase two new tires, get an oil change and an alignment. He said okay, typed some things into a computer and told me to have a seat and he would get back with me to give me a quote. I sat for 30 minutes and finally was called back to the counter. I was then speaking with a completely different guy who wasn't the same man who helped me the first time. The man proceeded to tell me what I needed to do and pay for which was not what I came for originally.. I gave him a little push back, as to what he was saying wasn't matching what I needed. Come to find out, he was inquiring about a vehicle that wasn't even mine..... So he prompted me to go take a seat and continue to wait until he was ready for me... By now, 45 minutes has passed since my original appointment time and I've watched THREE other customers (all men) walk in with scheduled appointments as well, and get quoted IMMEDIATELY for new tires with out a technician even looking at their vehicle!! They ALL got quotes within 10 minutes, got to drop off their keys and walk out the door to come back for their car later. Finally I walk back up to the counter and asked what was taking so long with the process as I've watched multiple people come in with appointments as well and get serviced immediately.. The man who I was speaking to, Chris, was extremely rude and short with me and rolled his eyes as if I was the problem. Let's keep in mind that I was friendly when speaking to him, but for obvious reasons had a small frustration in my tone. I didn't curse, scream yell, act ignorant or say/do anything unorthodox. I just wanted to know what was going on. My boyfriend just so happened to call me to check on me at the same time that I was speaking to Chris. So I informed him of what was going on. It seemed as if as SOON as he saw my boyfriend was on the phone he IMMEDIATELY jumped into action and was able to quote me RIGHT then and there... His excuse was that he was waiting for a technician to come look at my car to inspect it and see what I needed and that's what took so long. In my opinion, that's completely unnecessary unless requested by the customer. I didn't come in for a diagnostic. I came in for TWO new tires and an oil change and I even ADDED an alignment because the man offered one. Again, why is it that I needed to wait for a technician to look at my tires for a quote when I just watched three other people come in and get a quote without having a technician look at their car? My best and only assumption is that I'm a woman, so they were going to have the technician look and then try to scare me and sell me on a bunch of crap that I wasn't looking to pay for. I don't drive a lemon. My car is in wonderful condition and I get routine maintenance checks all the time. Because of Chris' attitude and at that point the ridiculous wait time. I decided to cancel the oil change and alignment and only purchase two tires as they rotated the tires for free. They missed out on an extra $200+ simply by having a bad attitude and lack of communication. At the end of my visit I spoke with a man named Mike and asked him if what I experienced was normal. He admitted to me that "it's not normal but he wasn't the one who helped me so he can't answer for them". Over all the process took 2 hours and 15 minutes with 45 minutes of them just playing and wasting my time. I wouldn't advise any woman coming here alone. Please bring a man with you because they will automatically assume you're vulnerable and try to get over on you to pay for more than what you are looking to spend. read more

Scheduled a 5pm appointment at 8 am. Showed up at 5 and was told that they couldn't take me in because of some sort of system error. I did not receive a call or email about this, so I ended up having to make an appointment at another place for the next day. It's incredibly unprofessional to not let a customer know about their mistake. They didn't even offer to reschedule, so obviously they do not value their customers. Will not be going back. People go to companies like this when they're obviously having a bad day. You guys made it worse. read more

I came in for an oil change and was asked to make an appointment. Totally fine! I did. Later I come back at my appointment time and it then took an hour and a half to get my car's oil changed. Had I known that the appointment meant nothing, I would have gone somewhere else. Every time I have come here for service, it is always excellent work! Today, I came in as my brakes have been squealing lately. Fitzgerald at the front explained to me why they could be squealing, and asked me to come in to determine the issue. Cary inspected all of my brakes, and determined the brake pads and rotors were all in well-working condition and simply needed to be cleaned. His honesty was a breath of fresh air. Great Customer Service. However not sure how the wheels and tires I brought from my home to swap with the tires that needed repairing ended up with a bent wheel as well. Had to drive home in traffic and at a very low speed the bent wheel is very noticeable while driving. My wheels and tires shouldn't be feeling this way as I had just taking them off a few days before I caught the flat on the factory's I put back on the car. Not sure if my wheel ended up bent because I didn't really need there services and they took time to try and repair the initial issue but couldn't be rectified at the moment with a new tire. I offered to pay something for them putting on my other four tires but the customer service rep said it was fine but I still have an issue with the current tires which I know I didn't have before. 2 stars for the great customer service but uneasy about the end result. read more

I had a great experience using the services at Mr. Tire in Sandy Springs. I brought my car in for a second opinion regarding a nail of some sort that was lodged in the tire. Although my intention was to salvage my tire, I was comfortable purchasing a new tire, especially since, the original recommendation was to purchase a new tire. Obviously, buying a new tire was not the great experience. Mr. Tire was able to assess my concerns and install my new tire in 20 minutes. The staff was pleasant and helpful. What a rip off this place is. Over $100 to flush brake fluid?? Also the fat guy at the counter called and tried to sell me an engine air filter saying that mine was over due and need to be changed. I declined. In my way home I stopped at pep boys to buy and change the filter myself and guess what ?? My filter looked brand new. After looking at my records I realized I had replaced this filter less than 3 months ago. This will be my last time ever in this store or any Mr. Tire for that matter. The prices are outrageous the service is horrible. They are rude and will lie to your face like the time the slim greasy guy at the desk told me that Firestone discontinued the REVO 2 tires but that he could sell me something comparable for slightly more $$. They were very friendly and helpful over the phone, so I took my car there. My overall experience was great. The price was reasonable also. The manager, Michael, was helpful and kind! If I could give a rating of ZERO STARS I would do it. I asked plenty of questions prior to making a purchase of 4 "new" tires. The bill shows they sold me 3 year old tires instead. Prior to purchase, it was clear that I wanted to understand my costs. After payment, I received my bill which had over $100 in added unnecessary charges. The staff refused to refund some of these charges. Make sure to watch out for the Road Hazard Coverage (which you don't need). They will add this on without informing the client ($60). Additionally, they will upcharge you on tire installation and also not tell you. When I asked if this charge was correct they lied and said it was correct to be $29.99 per tire. I called back as an anonymous potential client and they told me the cost to install tires could be as low as 19.99 instead of 29.99 for the premium. When confronting the manager, I was lied to a second time about the cost. In summary, I was lied to x2, over charged, and sold 3 year old tires when I clearly asked to purchase "new" tires. Couple reasons why this is a 1 star. First is they confirmed my 10 AM appointment for an oil change yet I sat in the waiting room while it took 60+ mins. Oil changes don't take an hour. Second is they ups old me on changing my cabin filters, which did need changing. They charged me $22 per filter and when delivered from Napa down the street, the invoice was $5 per filter. I'm all for making a mark up but 400% is insane. Third is upon installing said filter a piece of paper was lodged and the fan hit it each rotation making a poor humming sound, so I had to return an hour later to have it removed. I can do all of this significantly cheaper and faster myself. read more
