FANTASTIC Chinese food. We saw many Chinese restaurants walking around Florence, but were drawn to…read morethis one by the unique menu items. It was a great respite from the continuous (albeit delicious) Italian food we had been having for the past few weeks in Italy. Thoroughly satisfying. We ordered: * Steamed Fish - Branzino Al Vapore * Chili and Sour China Cabbage - Cavolo Cinese Agro-Piccante * Pork Rib Bone Noodle Soup * For Dessert: Yam Roll - Involtini di primavera dolci Highly recommend this place for a quality, inexpensive Chinese meal on the particularly cold days we've been experiencing in Florence. Service is fast and efficient. Would go again.

It's right across from another Chinese restaurant (Impressione) that had a line going out the door - 10-deep. Rather than wait around for a disgruntled lady to add us to the waitlist, we just went across the street. The food came out within 15 minutes and everything looked and tasted fresh. It was almost too fast for me to only get a photo of the chicken (cold dish). We also had the beef noodle soup, vegetable noodle soup, garlic steamed bok choy, and sour wonton soup. I would highly recommend this place for authentic food, but it's not fancy and the atmosphere is anything but cozy.

Yixinge - Taro Yam rolls - they're wrapped in a crispy sweet and light flour netting. So tasty. There might also be mung bean in the center.

When I walked by this particular restaurant I could hear the kitchen where they were cooking. If you aren't familiar there is a certain way you cook food in a wok, it's high heat and constant banging so the food is only cooked when it comes into contact of the screaming hot wok. That was a good sign. After some research, I settled on this spot due to the proximity to our hotel and the dishes that I would find more in line with what we were looking for. Reviews were quite mixed but it's due to the wide range of food. There were some Japanese, maybe thai in addition to the Chinese. From different pictures across multiple mediums the fish, water spinach and chicken looked good and usually correlated with good reviews so that's what we ordered. Having low expectations I was happily satisfied with their execution. Each dish was solid, nothing spectacular but really met our cravings and leaned more towards authentic than westernized Chinese food. If you are tired of pasta and like these 3 dishes I listed, check it out.
