When I became aware on Saturday that I wouldn't be able to make my Monday 4:30 PM appointment, I reached out immediately to reschedule (not cancel), hoping to find a solution. I truly thought I was doing the right thing, so learning I'd still lose $150 was really disappointing. What surprised me most is that their own written policy says changes made more than 2 days in advance shouldn't incur a fee (not business days). I reached out Saturday afternoon for a Monday appointment, so I genuinely didn't expect to be charged, nor was there any mention of a credit. I completely understand the need for clear policies, and I respect their time. I just wish there'd been a little more flexibility or understanding especially since I did my best to communicate early.
