His massages coupled with his professionalism and competency are incredibly relaxing. So intensely relaxing... that...ha ha! I left without the water bottle I came in with and had to go back! Jose helped the absolute brutal pinched nerve that I walked in with, coupled with his competency and professionalism. I was frustrated but I just walked away. The massage was mediocre. I booked a Swedish massage cause I'm not really into DTM and the stretching and bending joints. I know different kinds of massages and what I had was not a Swedish massage. She didn't really go through all the process of a Swedish massage she did the massage - rushing it too. It felt good after but again, it wasn't a whole body massage so my body didn't feel balanced and less achy all over. I'm sure if there was another employee it would've been a different scenario hopefully a better one for their future customers. I just wanted to share my experience to help the business so it doesn't happen again. If they don't look at their online bookings on their site and just rely on their walk ins or phone bookings then take the site booking down and if they cannot accommodate more than 1 customer at a time they should be honest at the get go. They don't speak great English and asked if I had specific areas of tension and I said yes my upper back and neck. The massage table had white doctor's office paper on it, no sheets or warming blanket and she punched out a hole for my head and provided a small towel for cover. Because there is no specific headrest my throat kept pushing against the table during the massage and I also ended up with a headache from the lack of cushioning on my forehead. The massage itself wasn't terrible but I asked for deep tissue and the pressure was mediocre and they did not focus on my chief area of muscle tension, and I could barely relax with the constant crinkling sounds of the paper. I got a 90min session and she didn't spend more than 10 minutes specifically working my upper back and neck. They did strange techniques of tapping my muscles and kept lowering my undergarments to massage my buttock. Because there is a hole for your head instead of an actual headrest, when I turned over on my back they placed a normal pillow under my head to cover it up, which meant the masseuse was hovering over my head and I couldn't relax cause I just smelled her terrible breath and the neck flexion meant poor access to my back and neck, and instead she focused on massaging my chest, which was awkward and not what I had wanted. I came here expecting to get therapeutic relief of my back pain and instead felt worse than when I had showed up. At least it was somewhat cheap only $90 for 90 minutes. Luckily I brought cash cause they are cash only. Not returning any time soon.
