Pro: Very pretty ship, looks and feels new. Good dinners, great steak house called Butcher's Cut. Con: Overcrowded bars during NFL games, overcrowded facilities! We couldn't get tickets for either comedy show. No seats for any trivia a half hour before the event. Paid for breakfast delivered to our cabin in a certain time window. It didn't arrive the first day so we skipped that disappointment. My wife got food poisoning, probably from the excursion at Grand Turks to some dive cafe. Really sick for 24 hours. She had no alcohol to drink that day. Only a couple the night before. Too windy to dock at their private island so we just sailed home. Why not divert us to a covered port, they knew the forecast like we did. I asked for a refund. Hard NO! Delays and disappointment and disgust!

Let's start with areas for improvement, first off internet. The internet plans MUST be paid per device, they unfortunately lock your specific IP address to your phone so you cannot toggle back and forth between your separate devices. I.e. Cell phone to laptop for work. Once you use your cell, it will be locked for the remainder of the cruise. In comparison to other cruise lines this was a major dissatisfaction. Second issue with this cruise was our dining time, we were slotted for 9:15pm and it was entirely too late for dinner, I often found myself having to eat snacks to make it to dinner or eating in buffet and skipping dinner altogether. Things that went well, the price of MSC is honestly a deal. Our food was great during the cruise, honestly some meals were better than others but leaps and bounds beyond expectations. Special shout out to the buffet staff, they cranked out quality delicious food day in and day out. Special note for the pizza in the buffet, honestly the best pizza at sea! No one can beat MSC in the pizza category. We had a balcony room, the room was decent. Honestly a standard balcony room on a cruise ship. Our Room steward Marvin was excellent, incredibly kind and personable. We are so grateful for his hard work day in and day out, kept our room well maintained. Our waiter Oliver at Hola Tacos was phenomenal, kept the food coming at a perfect cadence. Our margarita glasses full and our hearts even fuller. If you have a chance to try an MSC cruise, I would highly suggest it! Their island is phenomenal and beautiful. It's not obstructed by water parks or zip lines. The beaches were incredibly clean and plenty of seating where we ended up on north beach. The food in the food trucks are similar to what is served at the buffet so if you don't want to wait in the buffet line try to get some food at the trucks. Disembarkation day is a lot less chaotic than some other cruise lines. If you want to keep your bags it's even more seamless. Be warned that elevators are a hot mess at 8am as everyone is trying to make it up to breakfast. Try to go to breakfast earlier on this day or wait until 8:30. Seemed to have calmed down by then.

Awesome experience, we were very well taken care of and the luxury cruise line was totally mind blowing we were gone for about nine or 10 days from the time we left home till we got back. And we hail from Rochester, New York in upstate New York, where it was snowing like crazy and it was good to get away to the Caribbean on this wonderful luxury boat. They take very good care of you on that boat and everybody is very personable as far as all of their crew. I would totally recommend MSC cruise lines to absolutely anybody that ever wanted to try it because it's the best and they don't kill you with price.

We did the 3 day cruise that went to Nassau and Coco Cay. First off, the ship is absolutely stunning.!The staircases and ambience are very nice. The major problem with the ship itself was the fact that the elevators were broken at least once a day if not multiple times a day, forcing people who could not take stairs to take stairs if they wanted to get off the floor they were on. To me this is unacceptable. You have to be able to service people at all times who need ADA assistance. Two very important concerns come to mine about this trip: the service staff were horrible in general, in that all of the servers and all of the staff that were providing customer service that we interacted with were untrained. To the point where they were rude multiple times. I ordered two drinks on the ship, both were an old-fashioned. The first time he just put two shots of whiskey and then called it an old-fashioned, the second time he swore to me he knew absolutely how to make it as it was the "drink of the day" and he made it by pouring a shot of whiskey, and then taking maraschino cherry juice and dumping it on top and adding three cherries in and calling it an old-fashioned. Just a significant lack of trading in general across the board. The coffee is not drinkable. It is so bitter and rancid every place you go whether it's a specialty coffee shop or getting it at the buffet. So if you go on this trip, do not plan on drinking coffee if you are any type of coffee drinker. The food at the buffet and at the specialty dining restaurants ... It just wasn't edible. No flavor, full of grease and the amount of food that they were throwing out every day was just astonishing. I do think a longer cruise would be a better option or trying a different cruise line to see if the food in the service is a little bit better.

I had an amazing time on the Cruise Ship MSC Seashore for 7 nights! It's a European Cruise line, so they have limited USA routes, but this ship was beautiful. The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience great; the Ship Director Neil provides daily updates via TV, in person, on the app, and on the intercoms; the theater shows were great each night!; loved the activities and shows... we had a great time and they really lived up to their motto "MSC Family." If you're not into having kids running around, I'd recommend their Yacht Club level (as some teens make their way to the lounges and clubs at night; I didn't love this part); but the other activities and staff members make up for the short comings. I booked another cruise for my family! Looking forward to returning and hopefully they had more routes to the USA.

I finally went on an MSC cruise and it was on the Seashore. It was only a short 4 day cruise and I think in the future if want a longer cruise. The cruise was relatively cheap. The food was really good. Although it was one of those instances where the food tasted better than it looked sometimes. I don't recommend any of their vegan items. We tried a couple and it was awful. Take pizza is fantastic! But it is an Italian ship, so not surprising. Our room steward was lacking. He never introduced hisself. MAC doesn't do towel animals. That was disappointing. Our stops were ocean cat and Nassau. Ocean cay is their private island and there wasn't a whole lot to do. I did the light house tour and sat at the beach but they closed everything down hours before we departed. They had several parties on the ship to include white night, glow party and sunshine party. But they played the same playlist repeatedly. Their shows were decent but overall activities were lacking compared to other cruises. Venchi was the highlight of the ship for me. The most decadent chocolate coffees, cocktails, and gelato.

Uhmmmm Loved it! ok I haven't been on a cruise for 20 years, so when friends told me they loved sailing with MSC and it is a European Cruise line I was like ok that sounds fun. Went online and found a deal and just booked it! I thought the prices were great 2 adults and a kid, 3 day to the Bahamas for $500, let's go! As it got closer to sail time I ended up upgrading to a balcony cabin and grabbing the non alcoholic package so another $300. With tips and taxes another $150... so bringing the total to just under $1k. The ship is beautiful and modern! Some tips now that I've been: *I would pick a room close to the elevators, the ship is Huge! *Splurge for the balcony, beautiful to sit out there! *I would skip the drink package, we could only drink so much soda, coffees, there was water, coffee, juices always available. *Loved the new port at Nassau, really nice! No one bothered you in the port area. * their private island is gorgeous! * bring cash for tipping * book excursions thru Viator or Tripadvisor *eat the pizza and fresh baked bread on the buffet, it's great! * walk the whole buffet, different things around it * dress up for the themed nights, it's fun

I had the pleasure of taking my very first MSC cruise and it was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly, the ship was tech savvy and the food options were plentiful. The ship was nice and big and it felt so relaxing. I'll definitely redo this cruise line for sure.

We can hardly wait for our next MSC cruise. The cruise line, with 24 ships, worldwide, is true to its "family" reputation. We felt like FAMILY. Many thanks to Anil, our cabin steward, who was the first person we saw in the morning and the last person we saw at night. He is the hardest working man on the ship- with an engaging smile! As this was a booze cruise - for us - many shoutouts to bartenders Genesis and Palmer in the sports bar - they were exceptional- remembering our drinks after the first pour on day one of our eleven day cruise. Many thanks to the lovely and congenial Elvira who served drinks with a friendly smile. The shows were first rate - off Broadway quality. The magician was like Penn and Teller. I can't believe what I'm seeing. We especially enjoyed the acrobatic dance of Bella and Pawel- beauty, flexibility and strength. Wow! The Caberet theater was stupendous and high energy. I even showed off a few of my LA High School dance moves from the 1960s. Specialty dining was great (Hi Miss Precious) but so too was the complimentary restaurants with superb service from Edi and Destawa. Thanks to Prudence for the triple toasted bagels!! Other favorite pourers were Yankho, Juno and Francis.

Ari are drink server very nice and professional

TL;DR The Norwegian Joy is a really nice boat with nice staff. The app sucks. Staff are not equally…read moreknowledgeable. Bring your own sauce/seasoning. The worst part of our cruise experience was getting to the boat. There was a horrible traffic jam where we sat for about an hour with the drop off area in sight. After getting through all that, security and check-in went quite nicely. That is, until one of our bags turned up missing. We gave them all three together, but only got two of them initially. So that caused quite a bit of stress. We were getting different information from different staff on how to deal with the situation, so that only added to the stress. Thankfully the third bag showed up hours later. Staff knowledge was hit-or-miss. My friend tried using her ship card to get a drink, and the bartender that all passengers needed to go to the Guest Services Desk to register their credit card. There must have been a language barrier. There is no way that the thousands of people on this boat all went to Guest Services. Anyway it got straightened out. That wasn't the only time we were misinformed by ship staff about something. We did get a great deal on the cruise, so maybe this was their D-squad. The NCL app is far inferior to other cruise lines' apps. Frankly it sucks. You can't create an agenda of your own, so you'll have to go back to the activities list frequently. Also, the activity list will tell you an activity's venue, but it doesn't tell you what deck it's on. Finding a venue's deck is cumbersome enough. A stupid oversight IMO. There's also scrolling issues where the screen will jump ahead suddenly. Finally the app only has that day's agenda until 8pm where you can see the next day. For example, it would have been nice to know that karaoke was not a daily activity. I'm really disappointed in the app overall. Venue planning was a weak spot for this cruise. Standup comedy acts are always popular on cruises. On more than one occasion they scheduled the comedy show in a small venue instead of the theater. People were sitting on the floor or in their friends laps. An unnecessary fail. The food was decent on the Joy. The fries were tasty and plentiful (y'all know I'm the Fry Snob). Overall the food was mildly seasoned. My friend likes her food spicy, so we brought a bottle of Jamaican hot pepper sauce which got a lot of use! If you like your food seasoned, I recommend bringing any sauces or seasonings you may like. The Ocean Blue specialty restaurant was great. Considering it was $60 per person, it had better be. The food was great, as was the service. The live entertainment was great. The back to the 90s show was amazingly fun. The karaoke needed some overhauling. First of all, it wasn't offered daily like other cruises. Karaoke is so simple, I was really surprised it was only offered 2 or 3 times on a 5-night cruise. Song selection was overly cumbersome. There weren't books that could be shared among passengers, or even a QR code. There was one tablet mounted on the wall where you lined up and searched, hoping that the song or artist you want is available. It was frustrating watching tech-challenged people struggle with it while waiting behind them. Worse, there was a mixture of karaoke songs and music videos. One poor lady chose three music videos in a row not realizing it until it started playing. I don't normally gripe so much about cruises, but they gave me too much material to work with. That said, we still had a good time, but there were many areas for improvement.

The entertainment was not the best, there were a few things that i did enjoy like the Love and Marriage game, but they had a comedian on board that was not funny at all lol I really wanted to play bingo, but it was so expensive. I do not recommend any on board experience like the spa, my partner got a facial and she was not impressed. We have sailed on one sailing in 2026 so far and have three more booked and more we are looking at. We started cruising with our blended family of four kids about 25 years ago as it was the best way to see lots of places, something to do for everyone and parents actually get to relax too. We started out on Disney Cruise Lines but once the kids became preteens, we moved over to RCCL, for their age group. We did go on one Disney cruise last year just to compare with one of our grandchildren and her parents and we all agree RCCL is still the best option for everyone. I love that we can now get on the newer and bigger ships out of Port Canaveral as we live in Northeast Florida. The service, the amenities, the ships, the various things to do make RCCL the best in our opinion. We do tend to dine in the speciality restaurants as the food in the main dining room is not great, but again there are so many food options you can't possibly be hungry ever. The shows are great, the music is great, the atmosphere is great. We are loyal to Royal!

There was an itinerary change due to the hurricane, but they offered credits and made the most of the situation we were in! We ate at a lot of the different restaurants, checked out the different bars, watched the mainstage shows, enjoyed the pools and more! This ship is huge and there is so much to do. Even with 4 sea days, we still didn't get to do everything. My favorite meal was 150 Central Park and it was definitely worth the upcharge. The signature cocktail was amazing and I loved all the food I tried (pumpkin bisque, scallop app, halibut, fried cheesecake). We also ate at Hook, which was fabulous, especially if you love seafood like me! The shows on this ship are incredible! The Effectors II has some of the best effects I've ever seen in a musical. The bands and specialty acts are amazing! We also loved the water show. Overall, I would definitely recommend this ship for a family trip, girls trip, couples trip... all of the above!
