The people are all very sweet and as soon as you walk in there's someone smiling right at you and that just makes you feel warm inside. They have Sunday school classes for all kids big and small (which you don't see anymore) and the Friday service prayers are lit and you walk out filled with the Holy Spirit. So if you are looking for a church with the characteristics I mentioned this is the church for you I know I'm not going anywhere because I found my home.

It's a small, community-based church so don't expect a mega-church. The pastor is humorous and honest with his anecdotes. His sermons are well-grounded in scripture but really take into account modern life. They seem to be an active church with lots of study opportunities and opportunities to get together. They'd recently started a study focused on a book called Good Sense about dealing with finances and debt from a Christian perspective. Too bad I wasn't going to be in town long enough to join it. I wrote a prayer on a comment card and got a phone call a couple weeks later from the associate pastor just checking in on how I was doing. That was nice. If you're looking for a community-based church, you might like it.
