I've been dealing with foot issues my whole life, and as I get older it seems like a new one crops up every year or existing issues just get worse, so it was time to find someone to take a closer look at what was going on. I was referred to this offer by my primary care physician, and after my initial visit with Dr. Sekhon, I knew I was in good hands. She's thorough with a capital T, personable, friendly, and dare I say funny. I mean, she has the dubious honor of touching what's likely one of our dirtiest and ignored body parts (with gloves of course), and somehow she does it with grace. Honestly, she seems like the kind of person I'd want to hang out with, and that makes seeking the care you need that much easier. She's also super knowledgeable too, and she was able to offer me a new treatment for my symptoms that was 1000% more effective than anything I'd tried before and she offered advice that can begin to help with some of my other issues as well. RIDICULOUS! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE - Mt Rose Foot and Ankle clinic EVER!!!! I don't want anyone to experience what I have experienced. I called to schedule an appointment on 3/28/2024, as a NEW PATIENT. First I was placed on hold for 20 minutes, so finally disconnected the call. Then, I called the second time. I was placed on hold again, then Lisa, the manager picked-up. I asked her not to place me on hold again because I was on hold for 30 minutes now including my second call. I had severe Ingrown Toenail pain to the point that I could not put pressure on my toe. Dr Sekhon got me in right away, for which I was So Thankful! There was a little bit of a wait, but that is to be considered since I was squeezed into their busy schedule. First time to a foot doctor in 40 years. Was happy to be given three options in the care of my toenail issue. I chose the first option and the less invasive for now. If the problem returns I would not hesitate to go back to this doctor. Friendly office staff and a doctor with a "sense of humor". I was not given the option to numb the toe but I prefer the natural way in most cases. He explained everything to me so that I could make an informed decision on my care. It took two weeks to get in and I was not asked about the pain level but if he is booked it is worth the wait. He was knowledgeable and listened to the patient and that is so important in a doctor. Thank you Dr. Nebeker. I have been in terrible foot pain the last couple months. I had my big toe and second toe rubbing to where both toes had calluses that were very painful. I finally called Dr. Nebeker's office and they got me in within two days. Left there an hour ago with no pain at all. He shaved the calluses and oh my gosh, immediately pain free. I went to Dr Nebeker based on a recommendation from my chiropractor and so happy I did. I had been suffering with foot pain that Dr. Nebeker identified as a neuroma which is a cyst on the nerve in the foot. After painful cart-ozone injections failed to resolve the pain in my right foot the decisions as made to have surgery. Dr Nebeker walked me through the procedure and assured me that everything would be fine. Before the surgery at the surgical center several of the staff and nurses made the comment that he is a great doctor and surgeon. The surgery lasted about an hour and it's just a few days later and I am home recovering. I am grateful to have found Dr Nebeker and feel confident in time I will be better than new. I strongly recommend Dr. Kebeker at Mt. Rose Foot and Ankle Specialists. He is someone you can trust and will care for you throughout the procedure and provide you with superior diagnosis and treatment. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Nebeker. When I first went to see him I was discouraged as I had already been to see several doctors and my undiagnosed condition had gotten so bad I was riddled with pain and unable to walk without help. It was a Friday when the possibility of infection became a cause of concern. My sister immediately started calling around Reno trying to get me in to see a doctor. Dr. Nebeker's office was the only podiatrist office that answered the phone however they were fully booked that day. The receptionist, hearing my sister's concern suggested we come in anyway, as they would find time to squeeze us in. Not only did they get us right in, the staff was extremely professional, caring and welcoming. Dr. Nebeker is unique in his ability to truly listen and take the time necessary to ask the right questions in order to apply his knowledge and experience wisely (which previous doctors did not do.) I WALKED out of the office that day pain free. He not only alleviated my pain but prevented further deterioration and infection from occurring. I've retuned for follow up treatments and am unable to express the gratitude I have for Dr. Nebeker and his excellent staff. I went to Dr Nebeker in July as I was having severe plantar fasciitis pain in both feet, as well as bunion pain on my right foot. I was a little hesitant at first as I had tried endless over the counter remedies, bought expensive inserts and shoes but nothing seemed to work. My X-rays showed that I had a deformity in my right foot and that I needed surgery. I also had bilateral bone spurs in both feet, and requested Cortisone shots to relive the pain, as well as several exercises which helped. Dr Nebeker and his staff were wonderful and made me feel right at ease! This Dr is very personable, competent and professional and has a great sense of humor! It has now been 9 weeks post bunion surgery and my foot is coming along nicely. The swelling is less than it was a few weeks ago and I'm hoping to get custom shoes to fit my feet so that I can return to work soon. I highly recommend Dr Nebeker for foot issues!
