The people are warm and have a great sense of humor and are easy to get along with. This church has a warm, "homey" feel to it. This is not a church that is superficial, they take their walk with Christ and His teachings to heart. There is a bible class after church on Sundays as well as a bible class on Tuesday mornings (and sometimes, we bring our dogs to the Tuesday bible class! One of the members even puts on doggy dancing classes! Truly a neat group. I've made this my church family.

The minute I walked through the door I felt MY heart open up. I was greeted by wonderful people who welcome me with a smile and a hug... As I walked in the door to find my seat my eye's began to well with tears... Happy tears, Joyous tears.... This was very moving for me as I had only cried happy tears once in my life... The music moved me to my very soul.. I could feel the inner child coming alive dancing and playing, and then came the talk...... The words spoken by Rev. Steven where the words of my heart... With each word spoken my heart open a little more... It began to open up and flow unrestricted without fear of being me .... Only flowing with pure love... That was a little over 9 months ago now and I have no words to describe the gratitude I hold in my heart for this space and these beautiful souls who share themselves here....I participate in every activity I can. I have easily made appointments with Father Bill to talk to hiim one on one. He has a delightful sense of humor. Father Arjie is wonderful also. He also has a great sense of humor and both priests share a lot about their own struggles and faith. The church has so many programs for it's parishioners. They offer prayer groups, jail ministry, relations recovery. They also have a mobile kitchen for meals. Also a teen and family group. I hope if you are interested give the church a call. They have a group that is for newcomers to the catholic faith and a program to welcome back Catholics who have left the faith.

Actually, we do more than walk by, as Trinity Episcopal is also home to its Trinity Gardens, which is the site of a very nice, calming and spiritual Labyrinth. Here's the 411: Trinity Garden consists of a large Chartres style labyrinth and sacred ground for the scattering or burial of parishioners' ashes. Low benches, a trellis, and a fountain are additional garden amenities. The trellis with seating beneath serves as a visual connection to the church building itself. We like to stroll through parts, stop, retrace, leave, come back, sit on the nearby bench, listen to the water, each other, and ourselves, enjoy, and silently reflect. It's a welcome spiritual respite and offers a different experience each time we visit, and in whatever weather.
