    The Tenderloin. Crispy and delicious!

Finally got the tenderloin. It was not the worst tenderloin I have ever had unlike another review on here. Very tasty and the service was, as always, exceptional. Always love a trip to the Mucky Duck.

Mucky Duck is a mix between your small town local watering hole and a coastal Florida bar on the beach. The 700-person capacity patio overlooks a huge pond that can provide some killer sunsets reflected over the horizon. The bar itself is massive with a huge dining/bar room, multiple patio sections, and a large game room with tons of arcade/sports games. On weekends they have an amazing DJ Jay Smilez who kills it and sets the vibe! The tiki bar on the patio is the most fun bar to meet others at :) everyone is friendly/chatty. Service is mediocre - staff can get quite busy and overwhelmed. The menu is pretty large with good classic midwestern bar options. Great food a few beers after work with coworkers!

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST patio to have a beverage on the south side of Indianapolis!!!!! The patio is huge, it over looks a pond and have yard games such as corn hole. Great music. The food I would give a 3 star rating. Traditional bar food. Nothing fancy.

Waitresses had no info on the contest. We bailed before they tried to get their shit together.

I was surprised by how few people there were for NCAA football championship game, but had a great time and really good food

The potato leek hand pie was delicious and so were the Che Chori veggie Shepard's Pie Empanadas. We of course had to try as many of the Irish specialty drinks including the SNUG Butter Beer with SHANKEYS WHIP, Ginger Beer and Vanilla Cream. We had never tried Shankey's before but immediately picked up a bottle at Total Wine with If you LOVE Ginger Beer definitely try the Irish Mule S9. They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

One of my favorite memories from The District Tap actually started with a shirt…read more We were sitting on the patio overlooking Georgia Street on a Fever game day when a couple walked by wearing one of the coolest Caitlin Clark shirts we'd ever seen. We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.
