I am really disappointed by how unprofessional this place is. I booked an appointment with an associate by email and confirmed appointment. When I get to the appointment for my dog they tell me it's for next month when my email clearly states it is for the date I'm there . They do not even accommodate me knowing they're at Fault or apologize. Not coming here again . Horrible service. read more

Bad customer service We had been regulars at Muddy Paws for a year. Initial service was great. My dog is 13 years old and has had horrible experiences with groomers in the past, when he was a puppy at PetSmart and Petco. Making him very anxious and aggressive whenever we take him to get groomed. The groomers at Muddy Paws were accommodating at first, but his recent visit will be the last after the terrible experience he went through. We had asked them to drain his anal glands as well as his regular grooming. Upon arrival my dog had been burned and nicked around his pubic area. When we told them about it they had the gall to say he arrived like that. And we were never told that his glands were drained. The receptionist and the groomer were very rude to my parents and wouldn't let them renter the location to resolve this peacefully. They charged 90 dollars for this service and afterwards we had to take him to a vet to patch up his wounds as well as his ear infection. A simple acknowledgement of their mistake would have fixed this. Instead they lied, got defensive and rude. I understand my dog isn't the best behaved. Yet on their description they imply they "provide one on one attention and accommodation" i find that extremely hard to believe when they treat their regular customers like this. Be warned to check your pets for any cuts or burns from this place, or otherwise stand clear. Quality and service has dropped significantly. read more

I have been very hesitant to write this...I have never given a negative review before...but just have to tell what happened to our dog. We brought our dog in for a haircut back in February. I told I wanted an inch of hair left, because our dog has a double coat and dogs like him should not be cut down to the skin. (Which you think a groomer would know). Well he came out shaved (see pics). He was seriously traumatized for about a week. It's been since February and the hair on his back hasn't grown back in. I wonder if it will ever grow back? I spent over $125 and my poor dog is permanently scarred. I hope Muddy Paws doesn't make this mistake again. read more

I am giving a one star because I can't give zero stars. I have been going to Muddy Paws Grooming for over a year at least. Today I had a scheduled appt for grooming for the two dogs. I was told that I am able to drop off between 8:15am - 8:30am therefore, I arrived at 8:34am. Yes, I was 4 minute late but I didn't except the response that I received. When I arrived to drop off my pups, I was informed that was late and walked into the back room where the grooming occurs, the lady I was speaking too shut the door on me while I was speaking. I could hear them in the back talking about me, saying "oh no, we can not take those pups, we don't have time she missed her appointment!" The tone of voice was very rude and childish. Considering I have been going here and spending hundreds of dollar each time! I walked out the door because I felt like I was being disrespected and it was unnecessary. I called them later to let them know that it was unprofessional and rude how I was treated, this was clearly a miscommunication, however they wouldn't let me explain anything. I don't understand how after all this time we could be treated like this. I don't want my pups taken care of by people like this. They later sent me a text as you can below. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Even their response is rude as you can see below- I have booked a timing window with them several times due to my work schedule and now apparently they "don't do that" Do not waster your money here - the staff is disgusting. read more

I brought my Maltipoo here when our regular place was booked up. They seemed to be one of the only places with availability somewhat close to my area. They sent a text reminder the day before the appointment. Located in a shopping center, the place was easy to spot. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. Wet dog. Lots of them. I guess what else would you expect, but the smell was pretty off-putting and the other places I've been to do not smell at all. There was a bunch of dog hair on the floor of the reception area, which is separated from the grooming area by a door. The upside is that there's a window that allows you to see your dog as they're being groomed. Over the phone I was told that prices started at 65. When I got there they had a promotion for a spa package that was an extra 15, but when I picked up my dog 2 hours later she didn't smell like sugar cookies and I was only charged the 65 so maybe they didn't have time, but I would have appreciated if they communicated that to me. They put little bows on her ears and the cut was fine with the exception of the fur on her face which was uneven and still covering my dog's eyes. As a first time customer I didn't feel like they cared much about retaining my business and I'll go back to my regular place. read more

This place is perfect if your fur baby is very nervous or has anxiety at the groomers, because the team can soothe & calm them down so fast! I've been going to Stephanie even before she opened up Muddy Paws, and now I am so glad that this place is staffed with such a great team! My fur baby, Floyd, is always very anxious to go to the groomers (from past experiences at other groomers) but Muddy Paws is always so patient with him! Each session gets better and I can tell that Floyd gets happier when he comes home every time. The response time is very fast as well as the actual service, but they still do a very great job. I always ask how Floyd does that day (honestly ready to hear that he was difficult to work with as that was what past groomers have said!), but they always say that he's getting better but still being honest to where he needs more work with. I always get the teddy bear cut around his face & shave down his hair, and they execute very well. This place is the best & I don't see myself going to another place again. read more

We've been taking Bingo & Amy to Muddy Paws for several years now (began when Stephanie was in Brentwood). She does a magnificent job grooming both dogs. Not only do they look great but they smell great, too. And, best of all, both of our pups are happy campers going to and coming from their grooming appointments. THAT, to me, is the best recommendation! BEFORE Muddy Paws, we had to practically drag Bingo inside to be groomed. He hated his new groomer and actually began snarling & snapping at me when I tried to take him inside!
