Im sure the auto technicians here do great work. However, my issue comes with the customer service. On the day the Walk for Peace passed along Highway 29 my wife and I were sitting close to this business and my wife had a bladder issue and we stepped inside this business so she could use the restroom. Yes, the owners reserve the right to deny non-patrons but on such a historical moment do the area for the lady working the desk to say "No, I'm turning everyone away and not allowing people to use my restroom. I was just floored. To extend a little hospitality, and courteousness could have gone a long way. For me I will just find some other place to work on my car if in need of service due to the lack kindness. read more

I'm going to do this again--giving 5 stars--and I'll continue to do it every time I get service from Muffler Masters. If they ever let me down, I'll post that too. So far: great service! Had the engine light on so had the car towed in. Took a couple days (was on top of a weekend) but got the car back a day early at the agreed upon price. Terrible service, immature and incompetent employees. I called in on a Monday and explained in detail what I would like done with my muffler. The women on the phone said they could do the job and we scheduled for 4:00pm Wednesday as that was the only available time. I accepted knowing I would have to time out my workday as well as a co-workers to take me back after dropping off the car. When I arrived the tech came out so that I could explain what I wanted done. After showing him what needed to be done the tech said he wouldn't do it. I asked why and he just kept repeating himself saying he just wouldn't do it. The job is simple, would take 15-25 minutes max and I've had multiple friends do the exact same thing. I told the tech "I'm not trying to badger you just tell me why you won't do it" and still he was incapable of giving me a mature and honest answer. At this point I realized I was in the presence of an idiot and left. If you want good customer service, don't go here. Oh and don't listen to the girl on the phone because she clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. read more

Muffler Masters is one of the businesses I've experienced that does excellent work at a reasonable price. Here's an example, most mechanics charge $75 or more to diagnose a car's problem. Muffler Masters has only charged me to fix the problem. More specifically, I took my vehicle to a local big name garage where they said it would cost more than $1,500 to repair my brakes. Muffler Masters did the job for $600 and apologized that it was so expensive. That's fair pricing and excellent service. i will say that everyone there is a little uncomfortable because they don't really talk to you unless you ask something and idk if it's true or not but it did kinda seem like they just did things on there own time and chose what they wanted to do out of any options you give them rather than letting you decide but it worked out for me in the end. I have a 2022 civic and I wanted to make it sound a bit better than stock so I decided to get a delete just for temporary untill I get a new exhuast kit so I came here for the job and they were able to inspect the car and told me they can do the delete so I scheduled an appointment and they were able to do it within roughly 40-50 minutes of receiving my car. the car sounds amazing now which is surprising for a delete on a Honda but sounds great. they also called to check up on me a few days later to make sure everything was going good and satisfied. read more

Went in today to discuss a custom exhaust for my old truck. Two ladies behind the counter could not have been less helpful. They gave me a funny look when I suggested a custom exhaust for my 1979 truck. Then I asked if I could speak to one of their experts to get a rough quote. They said it would be an hour before I could talk to any one. When I suggested I just needed a couple minutes. The older lady said "sir our techs are very busy working." I just had my front and back brakes replaced here two days ago as well as my rotors cut. I was quoted $175 for just front brakes and rotors and after dropping my car off they called me and said my rear brakes needed to be changed as well. They called back and told me it would be $489.99 to replace the front and back. To me that makes no sense considering the front was supposedly $175. After receiving an itemized receipt they added on $70 in labor for the front pads and $70 for the back pad. They also charged me $24 for the front rotors & $25 for the back rotors. Altogether they charge me $498.41. After receiving my car back I had oil all over the inside hood of my car on the cream colored felt. I had oil on the passenger door the passenger consul & the drivers door. I had to get cleaning wipes and scrub my car down in order to get all the oil off but you can still see little bits of where it previously was. If the mechanic that got the oil in my car would have just cleaned it at the time it would've been a lot easier to remove and I probably wouldn't even have realized it. My brakes are also making a funny noise every time I press on them. I will be taking my car back on Tuesday when they open and hopefully they will make it right. They were very friendly when I would speak with them on the phone and they were able to fit me in fairly quick for an appointment. As long as they fix the squeaking noise on my brakes I will be somewhat satisfied. My only complaint at that point would be the oil on my interior that they didn't clean up and the fact I was charged way more than the price I was given on the phone before taking my car there. read more

I had my brother drop my truck off to have a new catalytic converter (Y-pipe) installed in which I provided. I also had to have a new flange welded on since at one point someone welded the converter to the rest of the exhaust. I was called and told It was going to cost $280.00 to do the work because the bolts were rusted??? The truck is from NC and only has less than 60K miles and it is a 95. I needed it done so I said ok after questioning their reasoning for the high cost and asking about their warranty. I was told 3-4 hours to do the work but the truck was dropped off Saturday in which I received a call at 12:25 and gave approval at 12:32, they close at 1:00. I was called Monday at 8:45 telling me it was ready to be picked up and they open at 8:00 which gave them an hour and 15 minutes to complete the job but I was charged 3 hours at thi=eir $80.00 dollar rate. bolts must not have been rusted since they reused the originals. Once I got my truck back it sounded and ran better until the check engine light came on. I crawled under to see what might have caused it as it happened right after the work was done; that's when I found very poor workmanship. The bolts on the flange had no washers, there was red RTV silicone all over the converter to manifold seals and I now have an oxygen sensor code. The new exhaust springs I provided which were OEM from a dealer are collapsed all the way and should not be as they are intended for movement of the exhaust. The pictures I have attached show the quality of their work. I would not recommend using Muffler Masters as apparently they are only masters on mufflers and nothing else. read more

I took my 2004 dodge ram 2500 to muffler master for a front end alignment on a Saturday august 18th 2018. I was the 3rd person in line when they opened. It took 45 minutes for them to get to my truck to do the service. I was out side and watched the young man get in my truck and take it up the road. With my truck being a diesel and having a set of stacks , all I could hear is the young man holding it to the floor and hot Roding my truck up highway 29. When he turned around he had the tires squalling and raced past the muffler shop to turn around. When he got to gas station below the shop he again was squalling tires on down shifting. He made the turn to come to the back of the shop and again was hammering on my truck. Upon putting my truck on the rack he and another employee was laughing about how he beat my truck. I was out side the back watching them and by now I'm really pissed off . They finally seen me watching them and invited me up to see how do the alignment. I told the guy I didn't appreciate the way he drove my truck. After all that they put the transmitter on my wheels and said my truck was too wide for their machine to read it, and the only thing that was wrong was my steering wheel off a little bit. The guy gave the main link a turn and made it TWICE as bad as it was before I took it to them. After all the work I did replacing ball joint's Tyrod's and bushing's in the front end and waiting for hour and a half that's what I got. I wasn't charged the $60.00 for the alignment but I will never consider going back their . I hope this post helps someone that has put so much time and money into their rides just to watch some guy beat the shit out it . Long story short Take it some where else for service .
