We…read moretalked about the times when there were no bridges, when folks relied on the ferry to get to town. Even as an adult it is fun to take the trip across. The ride is FREE now due to the Government now fitting the bill. When you go, stop at the stop sign until the ferry is on your side. The operator will motion you in. Drive down slow and onto the ferry. I believe you have to stay in your car now but we rolled the windows down so we could get the feel of it. Don't forget to run by the Rochester Dam. It's a man made dam that's neat to see.
