Mila, Anahit, and Vehan all constantly made excuses and delayed the sale of our home. Thanks to them, escrow took more than two months to close. It delayed the purchase of our new home three times because we needed the proceeds from the sale of our old home to buy our new home; we almost lost the purchase of our new home because the seller and agent were losing patience with the delays from selling our old home. The seller's agent for our new home actually had to take it upon herself to push Ana and Vehan to close the buyer's loan to buy our old home. We also called Ana and Vehan every day to make sure they were diligently processing our buyer's loan. I hated to do it but we did not want to risk losing both the purchase of our new home and selling our old home. Even though we submitted our offer to buy our new home several days after we accepted the buyer's offer to buy our old home, escrow on our new home was ready to close BEFORE escrow closed on our old home. Mila was the first agent from First Eagle for our buyer but she was fired midway through escrow. The delays started while Mila was still there. Ana took over but the delays continued. We requested to speak with the First Eagle Realty owner, Vehan, but she was extremely rude to us, constantly cutting us off, talking on and on in an attempt to sound smart but just looked like a show-off, and then making a racist remark towards us, yelling angrily at Ana to speak with "Chinese". I guess she can't tell a Chinese accent from my American accent nor can she tell that our last name is not Chinese. Very ignorant and insulting. Even though we eventually closed escrow, the buyer of our old home paid a very heavy price by paying a very high interest rate. In addition to the delays in processing the loan for our buyer, First Eagle botched the processing of their loan. They lost the interest rate that they had locked at the beginning of escrow in May 2022 and when they finally re-locked in July 2022, their interest rate jumped up at least 2%. Also, our escrow firm charged our buyers additional fees for delaying the sale of our home even though it was First Eagle's fault, not the buyer's fault. I felt really sorry for our buyer especially because it was not their fault. First Eagle made everyone suffer: Us, the buyer of our old home, and the seller of our new home.
