More than 50% remains to be done - although it does have a roof at this point - no walls, no garage doors, etc. Something has happened there ..... two previous projects were VERY successful - and they were great to work with - knowledgeable - helpful and except for a few rough edges excellent results. I WOULD have recommended them for anything and have 5 or 6 other projects lined up to do.. However, on my 3rd outing with them - I paid up front (shame on me) since they were so good before --- and they got started ... I waited, and I waited, they finally got underway ... they will no longer return texts -- ALTHOUGH an answer or two along the way will suck you thinking they are listening and acting to further the project until they just "no show" you to death. They will not return calls - although you can sometimes catch them on the phone if you call them - and they will typically make promises they then do not keep. This 3rd project however has been bad since the inception in November of 2018 at which time I provided the funding - based on previous experiences and trust built there (shame on me). Continual excuses have now continued for 7 months (it's 5/28/2019 as I write this). Too much rain (was true for some time) months 1 through 3 or 4, waiting on material to arrive (that was around month 4 or 5), my truck broke down, a guy quit on me, I'll try to pick up the material tomorrow (didn't happen), someone will deliver Monday (didn't happen), etc, etc. I gave them some slack for months - with empathy and sympathy for the myriad of events that have befallen them. However, now - looks like I'm just a sucker. So now these guys have lost all credibility and trust. AND I'm stuck with a project I can't personally complete due to my age and health issues - so I have to find someone to help clean up their mess - and pay yet again. Maybe this will prevent the same happening to others.... Good luck.

Three of the stumps were overturned trees from the storms that came through a couple of months ago. One of those stumps that was toppled was 6ft high. Kevin had to cut the tree trunk off the stump and pull the stump back over into the ground then grind it. There was also about 20ft of tree trunk that he cut into 18" sections and put in my neighbors wood pile. Kevin is a true profession and worked into the evening to finish the job. Besides the great reviews I saw online, he is a Marine. Being a Marine myself, I knew he would do a great job as that is what Marines do. I was not disappointed. I would hire Chomper's Stump Grinding again in a heartbeat.
