The big problem is that when discussing the storage format, I wanted my videos on a memory stick. Well they wanted a huge price to do that so I said just put them on a disk and I'll copy them over myself. I got the disks but they were coded as standard DVD files (.VOB) not something that i could use on a phone or a PC. I called the company back and they said that they couldn't put MP4s on a disk--of course that's wrong. They did suggest that because they still had my files they could convert them into MP4 format for an additional $200. That's outrageous. So I kept what I had and used two free software packages to rip the files from the DVD and then convert them to MP4. I'm satisfied that I have what I wanted, but not with the company. I would never go back.

The folks at 3Ball Productions said to be sure to make it fun and interesting so that I would stand out during my 'contestant pitch' to NBC. Well needless to say, I was clueless on how to move forward. It was then that I called the phenomenal Christina of In Motion Video Productions and she spent several hours filming and directing me to an audition-worthy DVD submission! She completely went out of her way to spend this time with me, (on short notice I might add). Then, Christina spent many hours into the night doing post production work editing the video so that I wouldn't lose the producers immediate interest. I was so appreciative of her assistance and hard work on my behalf. This loyal, concern-for-the-customer mentality is the underlying mantra of In Motion Video and Productions. The group contains tv channels FOX30 and CBS47 and radio stations News104.5, 95.1WAPE, X106.5, Hot99.5, Easy 102.9, and 96.9 The Eagle. I came to their place this day to pick up a prize from one of the radio stations and while I was parking, I swear I saw Dan Hicken walking towards the tv side of the building. But since I have no photo evidence, it didn't happen. Trust me, it was him. I went up their steps and into the lobby where the receptionist greeted me and had me fill out the prize paperwork. The lobby is pretty plain, except for the giant Big Ape that used to be on the top of the original Big Ape building. Once she saw my account she remembered me from winning before and I chuckled. We chit-chatted about how we were ready for the weekend and she handed me my prize through the glass and I was on my way. On my way out the door, she said "See you next time!" I hope so. It feels good to win :)
