As with any work project in your home, having contractors that you can trust and feel comfortable with in your private space is paramount, and they were wonderful and easy to have around everyday for weeks. They took the time to work with us on the details, large and small, and this really ensured that the outcome was what we wanted. Additionally, they were very accommodating of our desire to take on parts of the work (demo, painting, wiring, etc.) to offset some of the costs for the project. The skill level and craftsmanship of all the workers was exceptional, and the proof is in the quality of the finished product, which we're thrilled with. We would absolutely work with them again!

They walk off the job when I made the attempt to rectify the concern when they were using the same foreman and workers that messed up the first job When I wanted to speak to the owner, he refused to speak to me. He called his workers off the job and hung the phone up on me twice and refused to take my husband's phone call as well. Also on the first attempt at the job the foreman took leftover materials that we paid for His response was that he made several attempts to rectify the situation which is not true. They came out one other time when it was raining and unable to work that day due to the rainy conditions . so when they showed up today, I requested to speak to the person that we made the contract with with, but she was unavailable To the owner. You have yet to inspect the work yourself that you call professional. If there was nothing wrong, why come out to repair? Also, there's no intimidation threats or otherwise. Only attempts at communication and demands for professionalism today. When you pulled your workers off the job it was just me and four of them. I should have been concerned for my safety! As I was speaking with you today, you hung up on me twice! I also have documentation and you filing a police report only gives your side of the story that does not deter me and posting what a shotty job your workers did in the sub standard work performed at our home. Maybe that is your attack it because you want me to take down my review, but I am more than determined that our home should be treated and care for as any other home and the work should be done properly because we paid for it. Actually there was only me outside today, which I have the absolute right to do on my property. No yelling, no threats, no safety concerns. That is untrue. And I take note of this tactic. There' has not been any threats to your workers at all. We have video footage from our security cameras and to perpetuate anything of this nature I take offense to. It did not happen, not today or any other day.

When his bid came in, we had no reservation to say yes to him! And Stately totally delivered. They were there on time, told us every thing being done in the process, each of the guys were fun and personable, and they ended each day by totally cleaning everywhere they worked. They made a very expensive project fun and easy. Steven even took over the painting after we had an issue with our painters. We added things on and he did them for us. Brown tile floor, brown wood vanity. Why would anyone choose to make a bathroom the color of poop I cannot reconcile to myself. I have been annoying my husband for two years since we moved in to the house with my rants about it. This year I convinced him to let me spend some of our tax return on changing that. Thanks to my raging addiction to HGTV I knew exactly what I wanted to do in there and contacted Brian about my vision in mind. He is the most laid back dude, super chill and easy to work with. Brian does beautiful tile work, he made some very helpful suggestions about the tile and how to lay it so it would look the nicest. Aside from the tile work, he also changed out the shower head, replaced the vanity sink and installed faucets and a new backsplash, replaced the mirror, light fixture and toilet. Oh! And he hung up some shelves and changed the light above the shower. He did an amazing job. My husband was very happy with the changes that were made, his only negative was "This is so nice now the rest of the house looks like crap". Ha! Kelly B recommended Brian at Two Ells. I called him that day, left a message. He returned the message that day and we set up a time for an estimate. I love prompt responsiveness, and right off the bat, I had a good feeling about Brian. My parents haven't had any major work done in their 1980-built house since they moved in, circa 1984. Partly because they didn't want to spend the money and partly because it can be difficult finding an honest, affordable contractor, which has to do with the first reason really. Two of the several things I'm super grateful for regarding the way Brian works are his honesty and his ability to see projects in a cost-effective way. He is also extremely patient. My Mom had some health issues arise during our plans and Brian was so patient with us and having to push the date back (& our slacking on picking out materials, mostly because my mom is a perfectionist procrastinator). While we were waiting on the bathroom finalization, Brian painted our upstairs hallway and our family room and did a great job. He also replaced all of the gross fluorescent tube lighting in our kitchen and powder room with recessed lighting. I swear if you can only change one thing in a house built in the 70's-80's, the upgrade in lighting will make a WORLD of difference. My parents home only has one shower so it was VITAL that the tub and shower tile work was done relatively quickly. Brian and Bryce had the tub, tiles, and fixtures installed and ready to be used in 3.5 days. We were blown away with how quickly they worked and how beautiful the tile work turned out. The remainder of the bathroom work (new floor, new toilet, new lighting, painting, new doors, new vanity and counter top) took about 7-8 work days, at the most. We had a delay in getting the vanity and counter top from the materials supplier, but Brian checked in every couple of days to let us know what was going on. The project altogether probably took about 10 days. To remodel a full bathroom. Yay! I highly recommend Two Ells. Their pricing for our projects was SUPER reasonable and Brian is a really good, honest guy. He had great communication with us throughout our projects. We had estimates from a couple of other contractors initially but we got the best feeling from Brian and knew he was the man for our job! We look forward to working more with him in the future!
