Store hours say closed at 11pm and my husband tried to go in the store at 10:54pm. Joe stops my husband and says he can't go in. When my husband asked to speak to the manager or supervisor Joe stands there and yells "NO! NO!NO! while slamming the doors in my husband's face and taunting him. He did get the photo of Joe who was very proud of his behavior and representation of the Wal-Mart brand.

Usually, I was one of 4 or 5 RV's staying overnight. Had no problems at all & was able to get all my shopping done too. I had a beautiful view of the mountains all around me, so gorgeous setting. They carry so many items for all sorts of outdoor activities -- clothing, hunting gear, backpacks, water bottles, hiking shoes, layers like jackets and leggings, and so much more. I was able to find everything we needed, which was a huge relief. I was also able to order a few additional things I'd forgotten online and pick them up in the store the next day! Very glad that this place exists and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you need gear.

It is clear that Victoria truly loves helping people find footwear that matches their goals. I discussed what I was looking for, and Victoria took that information and turned it into a shoe-finding spree! She brought out at least four pairs for me to try. She even brought out some shoes that she thought I might like based on what we talked about. My husband started talking to her, and wouldn't you know it, Victoria brought out some shoes for him, too. She never made us feel rushed or like she was trying to get us out the door. She even helped several other people while we were trying on our shoes, and all of them left with smiles on their faces. The Basecamp is so lucky to have Victoria as a stellar employee. We, as consumers, are even luckier to benefit from her extensive knowledge about footwear. The staff was so warm, hospitable and helpful. Meeting the owner, Libby Doggett-Nevin, was delightful. She even carried my purchases to my car! Now that's "old time" Customer Service!
