Bad Experience at this location! I came in for a payday loan, my first time, filled out an application and waited in a long line for about 30-45 minutes. I was sympathetic towards the fact that they only had one person working there that day, so I patiently waited for my turn. When it was my turn, the lady told me to hold on that the system was freezing on her, and so I waited for about another 15 minutes. Finally, she told me that there system was down for the day and since it was after 5pm the headquarters was closed and unable to help her until the next day. She told me to bring in the filled out application the next day that way it would be faster for me to get my loan. The next day, I call there office before going in to confirm the system is good to go, and the rep who answers puts me on hold forever and so I call back, its busy, try again, than finally a lady answers. I tell her my situation, ask her if there pay day system is working and she says that it's still down. I called at 4pm...they opened 9am, they had all day to call headquarters and take care of this but did not do it. Than she proceeds to tell me that she will call them later to try and get it fixed and for me to call back tomorrow.....I thought tomorrow?!? Obviously if I am coming in for a payday loan I am in need of extra cash asap...I cannot wait another day until you decide to call to "fix it". I continued to stress my concern over the phone, and all she kept repeating was "yes..yes..yes...hmmmm..yes" completely ignoring me, very bad customer service. I attempted to call another location, and they answered put me on hold for 20 minutes and hung up, when I attempted to call again, they didnt pick up the phone. WORST PAYDAY LOAN EXPERIENCE EVER! Ok so I went to pick up a western union and after wanted to send a western union separately to someone else which has never been a problem.... today I dealt with a women named Maria she claims that Western Unions Policy was only to place one transaction per day... However when I asked her if she can show me the western unions policy she says she was unable and does not have it in writing. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!!!! I called western union and they told me they have no such policy... they don't have a limit of how many transactions that can be made per day... Crazy thing is I never had a problem with any of the other women that works at this place before. Maria was rude and unprofessional do not go here.... read more

I had a great experience at Mundo Western Union office this morning. I have been sending money to my son who is living with his wife in Cambodia. They just had their first baby, a lovely little girl, and I have been helping them with the associated medical costs and new baby supplies. I usually go to the WU office in my local Von's but it is always slow and yesterday, for reasons that are not clear to me, the transaction hung up and they could not send the money. Everything worked perfectly this morning at Mundo. The young lady who waited on me was cheerful and friendly, and even remembered me from a past transaction 6 weeks ago. I will definitely go back to Mundo the next time. read more
