Quite a nice park and zoo where it's great to stroll around or to spread out in the grass (as many…read moregroups and families do on the weekends). The zoo is mostly pretty old school but the animal spaces are often, but not always, of decent size. There is a good variety with birds, insects, a great reptile house (big and small snakes, a.o.), African animals (lion, elegant), South American mammal species, etc.
