We had a very nice, very romantic meal here during our first night in Recoleta. This is one restaurant in a line of them looking out onto a parkish square in front of the Recoleta Cemetary, with an outdoor patio and a large interior. The waiters were older gentlemen and there was a classy vibe but not too fancy. But now on to the food..
Husband had bife de chorizo.. nice big portion and he loved it. However, my dish was even better. I had a nice round chunk of filet mignon. It was so juicy and melt in your mouth perfectly cooked meat. Excellent. We also split a bottle of red wine, and had potatoes on the side.
When you go here, you should expect to be there for a while and have a loong relaxed meal. It is very nice and we really enjoyed our time here. We got here around 930 and it was almost empty. It wasn't until about 11 when the restaurant started filling up - when do people here sleep?
Its in the tourist circuit, sure, but we really enjoyed it! Deliciuos meat, wonderful time! read more
