I give it 3 stars because I expect a place named "Das Gift Haus" to have das gifts from Germany (or at least some large collection of beer steins), but I failed to find any. Maybe there were some German-themed items that I missed though. They did have a good selection of souvenirs and trinkets, and everyone (patrons and passers-by) enjoyed taking photos with the bigfoot statue out front.

I found WAY more than I expected to buy when I first walked in, and the owner, Gene, was super friendly, helpful, and fun to joke around with. I only WISH this place was closer to where I live, because I would become a regular. I can't speak about the full offerings, because I only looked through the jazz section, but I know that I didn't expect much, but was blown away by the amazing selection and the care that Gene put into the store. All of the records were in really excellent condition. I'm listening through my gigantic stack right now, and I"m about 7 records in and have only had a couple skips, other than that, it's been great. Gene also gave me an amazingly great deal, too (of course, i bought a lot of records... ). Really, this is a place well worth stopping for, especially if you're a vinyl nerd.
